Hi AlexaMerens.
Currently I don't have PZ installed and I last played it probably four years ago. And the PZ translation procedure I know is a thing of the past and probably different from the final version.

Also, I'm currently creating translation mods in another game, so I have very little time to devote to PZ translation work (see my profile for details).

So, unfortunately, I have no plans to join the translation team. Thank you.

Hello, sola.
First, check if the folder of the translation file is "mods / JPCheatMenu / media / lua / shared / Translate / RU".
Next, make sure that the character encoding is saved as "Cyrillic Windows - 1251". Because Japanese that I created is saved in UTF-8 (non-BOM), it can not be read even if edited in Russian as it is.
In order to solve these problems, you need to use a txt editor such as Notepad that you can save by specifying character encoding.

If this character encoding can not be selected, the translated data of the Lua file for Project Zomboid will become an unexecutable file.

If you want to check how Russian translation files are configured, it is a good idea to open the "/ ProjectZomboid / media / lua / shared / Translate / RU" folder for reference.

Can I take your edited .lua and txt files for translation into Russian? I've been trying to edit them myself for two days, but I could not do it (probably because I do not know the lua language, but I understand a little about programming)
