One example I have of recent is:
I was playing a campaign on my own, on EASY mind you, Rebels VS Imperials on the 0-4 bby map, and in a few minutes the empire had spread to any available planets that I couldn't take in time, and my first battle was against THE DEATH STAR. THE FIRST BATTLE. WAS AGAINST. THE DEATH STAR. They then proceeded to field a SUPER STAR DESTROYER, and then later showed up with a MANDATOR FLEET. No rest time and every planet I tried to take seemed to be more difficult than the last. Barely got any weeks in as well before 'oops, all super weapons' struck me.
Just asking this here because I'm not sure if it's a just me thing { i'm doing something wrong, something's up with my install }, or if it happens to others.

Empire vs. CIS on Alderaan
After the Battle is finished, doesn't matter who wins, the game crashes back to the desktop.
Also I second the comment of arch0angel0rift about certain units like the shore troopers breaking the game.
1-You are playing a galactic conquest with too many factions and planets that your computer can not handle.
2-One conflict with other mod played before. Remove the autosavegame can help.
3-One corruption in the original game, reinstall, removing all the files can help.
