DE Version has just been posted: "Dragon DEvamp." Thanks to all of you who kept commenting and telling me how much you wanted this mod for DE. It's been a long-time since I have modded the game, but it's well overdue for this one to make the transition.

Sorry for the delay everybody. Please go check out the new DE version and thanks once again for sticking around.

Hey! So I am a big fan of this mod since it is one of the few that I have seen that add new colorized creatures and I am desperately trying to look for ways to do that on my own. My question is how did you go about changing the textures to achieve a different color, or did you use an alternate means to change the color? Any help can be of use and I hope to see this mod in the DE soon! :)

"jumping back into the dragon revamp soon" Pretty please :)
Lost Crane  [author] Jan 25, 2019 @ 1:20pm
I just release a DE update for Inferni, so I'll probably be jumping back into the dragon revamp soon. Sorry for such a delay guys; starting a new career and moving took a lot of my attention for a good minute.
ahiles076 Dec 2, 2018 @ 5:33pm
Hey Lost Crane! Any update on how the conversion for the DE is going??
Dimaxi? Nov 24, 2018 @ 1:28pm
DE update please? :)
Lost Crane  [author] Oct 27, 2018 @ 6:45am
@Fawlcon: I will look into what RestingLichFace is doing if its going to suit your purposes. If not, it's definitely possible to make one; although, it will be very difficult and time consuming. I have a bit of experience making new models now in Maya, and have made many for MechEngi. The only difference being I have not made animatied models yet like creatures so that is something I will have to put a lot of time into. I will do some research and see what I can come up with.
Tiqon Oct 22, 2018 @ 10:10am
I think it was Resting Lichface on discord is working on making a hydra. Maybe that could be used (if he manage to make it work).
Fawlcon Oct 22, 2018 @ 10:05am
Is there any possibility you might be able to add a multi-headed dragon to your MOD in DE? Reason I ask is I have done a large three part GM campaign that ends with Tiamat. It would be glorious, but I understand if not possible.
ahiles076 Oct 17, 2018 @ 2:32pm
Just wanted to say how aweome this mod is, and I can't wait to see it in DE! Thanks for taking the time to work on it! It was pivotal to a campaign I was running and my players were so happy with it!
Ðrim Oct 10, 2018 @ 8:37am
Looking forward to see what you create!
Lost Crane  [author] Oct 10, 2018 @ 8:17am
The main issue is, as this was my first mod, I never backed up the data so I will have to do a full remake for DE. May take a bit of time to port.
Lost Crane  [author] Oct 10, 2018 @ 8:17am
I am working on doing a refresh for DE soon. I am in the process of building a new PC; at which point I will be updating this mod. I have much more experience in creating new assets after work with Inferni and Mech Engi, so I will probably be recreating assets to make the dragons visually better.
Fawlcon Oct 8, 2018 @ 10:12pm
Any chance you will do an update to allow use with the DE?
Jogador Pedrão Sep 19, 2018 @ 2:21pm
Can you make screenshots showing the front of the dragons, sorted by chroma/metallic/aditional? The one you provided doesn't show much ;(
Jogador Pedrão Sep 19, 2018 @ 2:20pm
So, no Earth/Sand/Dust dragons? It's the only missing ones =(
Ðrim Aug 31, 2018 @ 6:45am
Apparently the editor/toolset isnt updated yet for it according to other modders. Should be out next week they say so no rush I suppose. :)
Lost Crane  [author] Aug 31, 2018 @ 5:38am
Working on it! Should have it update soon. I am in the process of moving right now but I will try to make some time to get it ported over.
Ðrim Aug 31, 2018 @ 3:47am
Can this be updated for the definitive edition?
Inquisitor Firebrand Jul 7, 2018 @ 2:08am
I think I got it thank you
Lost Crane  [author] Jul 6, 2018 @ 4:57pm
After adding this mod to the dependancies of your add-on, when creating your skill in the stats editor, you create a custom POLYMORPHED status data and apply the guid of what dragon you want to the template box of the polymorphed status. Then use that status name in the skill properties of your polymorph "Shout" skill.
Inquisitor Firebrand Jul 6, 2018 @ 8:57am
so here is a question how would I assign this to a polymorph spell say from dragon knight for example?
edge Jun 23, 2018 @ 6:33am
Thank you so much for your help, this will be awesome. I'm quite pumped to be freezing the neighborhood
Lost Crane  [author] Jun 19, 2018 @ 7:38am
Additionally, I have just updated the mod for the first time in awhile. After looking at the mod again, I noticed that silver dragons were now blue in color; this is due to the fact that a recent patch has changed the color of a material asset used for silver dragons to a blue color. I have changed silver dragons back to a silver coloration. I actually liked the color change so much however that I decided to add a new dragon, Mithril. The blue coloration looked fantastic, so I wanted to keep the coloration for a new dragon type. I will be adding additional assets soon, so expect more updates in the near future. I am also looknig into creating skillbooks for existing skills created, which may be a serperate mod.
Lost Crane  [author] Jun 19, 2018 @ 7:01am
Hey guys; so many of you have requested assistance in figuring out why you can't find the mod assets in your dos2 engine. Since I created this mod explicitly for campaign creation, and one of the best ways to do that is using the engine, I want you guys to be able to use this mod in your dos2 engine. So, I did a little digging and I found a guide for adding third-party mods to your dependencies. I will be posting that guide in the discussions section on this mod. Please check that out; the link will be for a larian studios forum post.
Lost Crane  [author] Jun 19, 2018 @ 6:00am
Hey edge, sorry I had a very extended leave from editing this mod. I will actually devote some time today to making a skillbook for you. I have seen a review on how to do it and it is fairly simple, so I should be able to get that done today. I may even add a few other skills from other dragon variants that I have done in this mod.
edge Jun 14, 2018 @ 10:19am
Hi, me again, don't know if you'll see this, I've tried making the flame breath into skill books but with no luck ( I'm not very good at this) any chance of a breath attack of just ice?
Lost Crane  [author] Feb 17, 2018 @ 10:42am
Let me check up on this. It's possible that the only reason I can see it is because it was a mod that I made in the engine.
Nigh Hoon Feb 14, 2018 @ 3:02pm
Hey I was wondering. I'm also trying to edit these Dragons as well in the engine to remove their boss health bars. However your mod won't show up under my list of availible dependaent mods. Do you know why this might be?
Lost Crane  [author] Jan 26, 2018 @ 4:06pm
Sorry for the late reply, weekdays are pretty loaded for me.
Lost Crane  [author] Jan 26, 2018 @ 3:48pm
Once you have done this, you will have new root templates. The naming convention I have used for root templates is:

Creatures_Dragons_<color>_<age>
Lost Crane  [author] Jan 26, 2018 @ 3:46pm
You should be able to get these in the engine no problem. there is a setting for mod dependencies and you want to select this one as one of your dependent mods. To do this, Find "Project" in the top left, Select "Project Settings" Click the Dependencies tab and select the mod and save.
ohga Jan 22, 2018 @ 4:26pm
is there a way to get these into the Dos2 Engine editor? i want to set pathing and some stuff you cant do for the in game GM tool.
waynemcook Dec 31, 2017 @ 8:49am
I'm thinking about changing runes to be dragon scales and making them a little more powerful. Not sure if I want to tackel that yet but I've had the thought.
waynemcook Dec 31, 2017 @ 8:48am
I think a GM could just switch out the player characters breath weapon to one of the others.
edge Dec 29, 2017 @ 9:16pm
That would be awesome if you can, and much appreciated, I'd just take the innate breath weapon off the task bar
Lost Crane  [author] Dec 29, 2017 @ 12:58pm
Tbh, I'm not sure how I would even go about doing that. This add-on didn't require me to do anything that would help me change base playable characters. I could make skillbooks for the breath weapons if that is something you are interested in, but I have no idea how I would apply different color breath weapons to the lizard race, especially not since they are an innate ability and not a selectable one. I may be able to come up with a selection of skillbooks that are innate abilities that only the lizard race can use, but I'll have to do some research on it and let you know.
edge Dec 29, 2017 @ 1:58am
Lizard race*
edge Dec 29, 2017 @ 1:58am
Any chance you can apply these breath weapons to the lizard classes breath weapons instead of just breathing fire for everyone (maybe some wouldn't care for acid if they were using a black or copper but I would)
Lost Crane  [author] Dec 28, 2017 @ 4:03pm
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy it.
Fawlcon Dec 28, 2017 @ 4:51am
Love the update! Thanks again for the hard work!!
