"It was bugging me that you can only write a single magnum ops when you are ."

...when you are ...what now?

@DemonKingTeemo As of now i have no intention of making another mod, because i dont currently play CK2.

@HyperSpearMan.swf - TheRyuSword I dont know. Never tried. I only added a new trigger and event that removes the wrote_magnum_opus flag. I didnt change anything existing, so chances are high it works.

Does this work with the 2nd edition magnum opus mod?

Figured i'd ask since you seem to have an interest in Immortals

Was wondering if you'd consider making a mod that allows you to hold the "Grand Tournament" multiple times during a reign?

If not thats fine just figured i'd make a request : ]:8bitheart:

Anyways thanks for the mod i use this in all of my games :8bitheart:

you can have Multiple Magnum opuses of different types like One in Theurgy and another one in alchemy but you cant have more than 1 of the same type so you can have 2 magunum opuses but the 2nd one would not work

I dont plan to make another mod right now. And in vanilla you can have more than one Magnum Opus if you inherit it. I didnt change anyhing with the treasury. I only remove the wrote magnus opum modifier after 60 years. Nothing else.

And in vanilla according to the wiki, you can't have more than one magnum opus in your characters treasury

What I am talking about is enhancing the existing book already written by the player and endles number of times

You can already write multiple books. After 20 years if i remember correctly.

Do you think you could do a similar thing for the Jade Dragon 'write a book' decisions?
76561198148577520 Jan 8, 2018 @ 5:45pm
You could do that or the magnum opus that the player creates has the exact same skill level as the player, ex, if my character had 10 Martial, 12 stewardship, 20 learning, 14 intrique and 11 diplomacy, the magnum opus that I create gives 10 Martial, 12 stewardship, 20 learning, 14 intrique and 11 diplomacy. This is what the magnum opus should do. I find it very annoying that through my hardwork writing the book, I only get +1 to all skills.

useful mod, but here's how to make it better: reduce the time to 15 years, and each time the magnum opus gets better. Meaning if you created one at 20 learning because you were lucky enough to 20 learning, you dont need 21 or higher to make it better. Growing better by +1 in all skills each time and adding other effects like increased levies or decreased build time in small amounts each time.

Finally great mod. Ability to write only 1 for Immortals is stiupid.

Magnum Opus means 'great work', literally. No reason you can't make several.

It also wouldn't make sense to have several quality versions of a masterpiece, because only one of those is the actual masterpiece.
KahirDragoon  [author] Dec 20, 2017 @ 4:39am
True, but i didnt see a reason why someone which practically unlimited lifespan wouldnt be able to write multiple books on different subject as he had the time to learn all that. It would probably be more accurate if the character could expand his magnum opus with different topics or write a big one when he masters the arts one after another. But i dont wanted to make a bigger mod right now.

Magnum Opus means masterpiece. You can only make one Magnum Opus because there's nothing above Master.
