the problem is not there gmod support mdl file but somewhat an error is going here

these models are too tall, so i found a way to shrink em, right click on the model and press view in element viewer as model, then right click on transform and add attribute, then add a float attribute and name it scale, then the model will become invisible, after that change the scale number from 0 to whatever number between 0 and 1
