Another modder is working on a weather overhaul for wh3 and I've been assisting a bit. So one is in the works for sure. He's doing 99% of the work; so I don't know when it's ready

@Zed - thanks for the kind words. I noticed really decent FPS boosts from running this as well. Sadly life happened and I haven't been modding much for the last 2 years. I do hope to do something similar for TWW3 tho.

Hey dude. Just wanted to say a big thanks for this mod. Modders don't get enough appreciation imho. This is the best lighting mod for the game, 100%.

I tried 'Ultimate Lighting' not too long ago, and not only does my FPS run lower with it; my computer also runs hotter. But with your mod, not only do I get a cooler PC and higher framerate, but imho the game runs much, much smoother. The only hiccup with it is sometimes it can be a little /too/ dark, but as long as you're willing to tweak gamma/brightness when hopping in and out of battle, it's totally worth it.

@6mp there's a mod that already does that. It's the most popular weather mod, can't miss it.

Amazing Mod, I am just wondering can you add the occasional day time fight? like 20% days 80% dark.

Does this mod change anything about the campaign map? If not, is there a mod that you would recommend that doesn't conflict and would work with this mod that does so?

this mod is absolutely awsome, the best of the graphical mods I've tried, it removes this flickering texture of the grass and terrains of so many maps, the only "bad thing" is that sometimes is too dark, in some maps I can barely see my units, im trying to give more gamma or brightness but i have not reach the perfect point yet, anyways this is a great mod thx for create and sharing this ^^

@kelstr do i need to add any sort of framework to run it? when i try to run the game the games mod manager wont let me activate it and claims its outdated

Yes, you're right!

I think it looks great on the vampire/orc/dark elf/etc. maps but elsewhere it's a little strange. It destroys the possibility of having more than "doom and gloom" as the look for a map. I like your mod, I like it a lot but I just find that having more dynamic weather conditions is more fun for me.

I'd reccomend "Alternative Lighting" to this mod.

Don't get me wrong, this mod is great but EVERYTHING is dark. Super fairy princess high elf city? DARK. Super nature wood elf settlement? DARK. Epic Empire capital? DARK.

It's a little much unless you're fighting in strictly gross or chaotic places.
