I don't know what happened, but lately this mod appears to conflict with YnAEMP v25 when using the Giant Europe map.

Ok so I'm not the smartest tool in the shed, but I've downloaded the mod and applied it to a new game, but Venizelos doesn't show up as an option to play as. What am I doing wrong?

Music doesn't appear to be working for this guy. Love the mod though, great fun to play as/against!

All of you making these idiotic jokes about Greece, just show what complete brainless drones you are. Take a look at how many nations are indebted and ask to whom they're indebted, why and how this is happening. Not that you will bother, you're just a bunch of hopeless little parrots.

So keep eating the bullshit your media gods feed you, you will never bring the Hellenic people down.

Yes of course you're right about the phoenix being used very often in Greek culture. Too bad some people used it as a symbol for their backward ideology and it's now associated with them, same as the swastika.

But I see now how it's a fitting icon for that period of Greece's history, again well done!

@Vasilas Thanks for the compliments! Glad you enjoyed it!

As for the emblem, the phoenix as a symbol of post-Ottoman Greece actually has a much longer history than just the junta, it was heavily associated with the war of independence and was used all the time as a metaphor for Greece rising into its independence post 'death' at the hands of the Ottomans. Given this is the only proper post-Ottoman Greece civ, I decided to go with the Phoenix over the Cross because it represents a broader period, stands out more, and connects the civ to classical mythology - which given how the design is all about establishing connections with the past - seemed appropriate!

Very well-thought and designed civ, but the icon you used for Kingdom of Greece (rising phoenix) was the symbol of the infamous junta of the 1970's, which by the time it happened, Greece was a democracy and the monarchy abolished.

The traditional blue+white thick cross with a crown would be more fitting and accurate.

Anyway, good job, it's a very well-made civ nonetheless.
