Maybe more variety with the towns as political entities, like calling one a City-State or a Republic etc, be that accurate or not. Assuming this is ever checked or suggestions are taken, that is.

Such a simple concept, yet so cool mod.

It was always overwhelming to deal with huge factions. You rob 8 villagers on their way home and now 1/6 of the map wants you ded.

Now its more like Conan the Barbarian - every city bears its own adventure. That and an unspeakable chaos which is diplomacy :D

I have only one issue: everyday there is a warning, that "lady party" cannot spawn due to invalid index in the code. I can provide a screenshot if you need to.

I like the mod but I'm getting a bunch of script errors quite often

nice mod but maybe you could give us an option to start as the monarch of one of these city states

If I activate Cheatmenu while playing this mod and click Debug, the game repeatedly shows me something like Debug: Jarl YourMom yadayadayada. If I click continue, it just shows me that screen and I need to force close the game through steam. Game breaking honestly. Otherwise, great mod, keep up the great work fellas!

Hello Guys, I am the developer of the Floris Version of this mod. I have remade the mod using only Diplomacy. This removed almost all the bugs with it.

dont have really anything good to say about it....bad things, many but i will list a few
1: the enemies gather armies far faster then normal, which makes it difficult, but a king can go from wiped out to 300 men in two days....far to excessive, but then leads to
2: your ability to recruit is delayed which compounded with 1 means you will fall behind
3: horsemen are suppost to have spears.... lances are nice but they are slow and all the spears prohibit riding...which is #$%&ing retarded.

Im guessing all of this is part of the floris mod. which i blame that author, not this one. IF he can make the single cities in a vanilla that would be awesome.

Definitely going to hold off then on the sub until the formations are fixed

Or maybe call the Vaegir Kingdoms for Tsardoms, and their kings for Tsars. That would be great.

Wil lthere be an update so that lords that defect arnt having their names be changed to the defecting statement. I want to enjoy this mod but by day 90 theres 10 lords that have names like, "June 30 Lord Defects from realm A and has been stripped of titles... etc"

You should use the names Grand Principality for Vaegir states and Republics Rhodoks, like in the Floris version. You should also renamed the Nord kingdoms to Jarldoms.

There are so many bug reports on the Floris one, finished or not this is the one to use.

Floris is unsupported so the one that combines this with Floris is thus broken in ways that are unlikely to be fixed

I got SCRIPT ERROR ON OPCODE 1677 when I started a new game, is that normal?

If you are still using this mod i highly suggest using the new version with floris included.

Diplomacy is all I wanna see, would make things smoother with all the kingdoms. They had said they were working on it a while ago but no word on progress or even if it's still on the go. A yes/no would be nice is all.

If you guys read the title it says "Independent Towns" not anything about any new troops or anything just like it is in the description if the creator wishes to add new troops or bug fixes he will say so.

Is the creator listening to community or is this shit dead

I demand more factions or RIOT! I always wished this MOD had some new weapons, armor and the factions were more individualized. They are all just the same as before just split into factions.... Ever think of doing a bit more?

Great mod, somewhat buggy but still great, could you add diplomacy somehow into it?

Any news on when the courtship bug will be fixed?

@Seleucus I can say with 100% certainty that is incorrect. You can add more kings, hell theres a mod that adds I think 64 kings two princes a three doges (medieval_conquest) but that is neither here nor there, its just that it is really hard to do it if your a beginner

@Rahro Uth maybe the engine of the game doesnt allow o make vassals kings and even create more kings so maybe the creators are forced to create clones or they are planing to create kings not sure though

Why make every single king a clone of each other? Cant you just make the vanilla lords kings of their respective city states? Also nerf the kings too will ya? everyone runs around with 400+ troops.

you should rename then in to city-states this make more sence
