Regarding the Baldwin 0-6-0 tender, I'm excited to see it when it is released!
Cheers,
I really like your mods, all of them actually. I have a question out of interest, are you planning on more steam locomotives for this game?
@M4 - Working on a custom Baldwin tender for the 0-6-0 now. Slowly getting there.
@YouBlewIt - I appreciate the coaling tower diagram. I have put quite a bit of thought into making a coaling tower, it's just one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet. These pics will come in very handy though when that time comes. Thanks.
I really enjoy your mods, especially the ones involving trackside railway structures. Since you've already made water towers and a sand house, have you thought about making a coaling tower?
Coaling towers were very common in large yards and terminals through the beginning of steam to the end in 1960. The first ones were wooden, and most lasted up until 1950. Around the 1940s and 1950s, steel coaling towers were built as well.
Here's a diagram of a wooden coaling tower: http://www.trainweb.org/s-trains/davis/coal.gif
Here's a photo of a steel coaling tower behind a locomotive: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/fe/e1/3c/fee13c52179d3954e602cb87ac783b84--railroad-photography-pennsylvania-railroad.jpg
A coaling tower would be an excellent addition to the game and to your already excellent collection of mods, giving the game more of an authentic feel to it.
Fantastic work btw, this is majestic!
