So guys, I have a problem, with my imagination and creations, I select the vanilla ships but I would like to use BYOS, is there any alternative to literally building/expanding the ship? Like blueprints or another solution?

I've been trying to use "Dragon Bound Z : ReBoot (WIP)" which adds Saiyan race. But there is no support anywhere.

No Arcana support for some reason?

I'm still getting the "ship background will be permanently visible" warning on my Avali character. Any idea what might be causing it?

After spending far too many hours trying to make a disgustingly massive ship, and failing to keep it symmetrical, I finally had the idea to just make it a BYOS template, and thus get it perfect much quicker and make it available to all new characters; Except that I can't seem to find a good source on how to make a BYOS template, any info would be appreciated.
Though, forgive me if that's actually an original BYOS feature and not part of the Frack'n tweaks, I can't find any info if it is or is not a Frack'n feature.

Hey sorry to bother you, but for whatever reason the Gardevan race mod is not working I tried both the EmperorRCK version and the one by Dune Green and neither work at all

@Sasori Kigaru There is a new integrated mod coming out later today for Ningen that should fix your problem hopefully :)

Trying to Get Ningen to work, it still gives me the error and shows the old ship back ground. The github content didn't work when I replaced the contents of the workshop mod with it and at this point I'm running out of ideas.

Anyone got a fix in mind?

Does anyone know how to get this to work with the races added in Galaxy in Conflict? I'm trying to select a BYOS ship but get the warning about the default background image being detected. I've looked online for more info but I can only find posts from people who had that problem because they didn't have this patch installed.

I noticed, got the right files too. The old byos is really lacking compared to FUBYOS system... It really should be ported out of FU as a standalone mod :/

(though it stopped getting updates, so it's missing the newer race mods)

Dunno if this will help anyone else but just downloading the github version fixed my issues with the mod.
Seems that the version here isn't updated to the current github version.

I'm sorry to say that this is borked for SpaceKidds as of April 4 2023.

To recreate my issue:
1. Load "Angels of Starbound" , "cutebound angels", avali race and "frackin' universe" with this patch.(note: there are more patches for angels of Starbound for other mods on my list, but I have this issue with the above named mods, tested)

2. Create a character that's a female angel race and use the byos ship and replace the angel ship with avali ship(also happens if you choose the protectorate ship, but, avali tech is based) . Play through normally until you reach the outpost(not the science outpost)

3. Accept all quest from Ester(old lady in chair?)

4. Talk with Pete the pirate dude in the junkyard.

5. Beam up to ship and suffer.

Eeveetwo needs some love :(

doesn't support angels of starbound. gives me tons of lockers and places a image of the angel ship if you select the avali byos ship. so that means there's no mods that add actual angels of starbound support...

Edit for clarification, the backgrounds do not show up properly for the GIC races, but they do for the others.

So far they do not crash, but the background for the ships do not show up with the other races, but not with the races specific to Galaxy in Conflict mod, as far as I can tell.

Can the GiC (Galaxy in Conflict) races be compatible with this?

Do you have any mods installed that change the Saturnian ship?

Does this work for Saturnians? I chose the Avian ship type (BYOS) and the vanilla ship is still stuck behind the BYOS ship.
