看了天际线2的介绍,这个mod被官方收纳了,天际线2市民会赚钱了,公司工厂也会把产品卖给其他公司,本mod的主要经济系统看来全部被收编了。

any update on this? i keep getting an error and am unable to place the paving crew or cement plant.keeps saying distance too short ?
i can place only the brickworks and lumber yard

It should be possible to identify the reason for issue (which is likely a result of a base game update (thanks CO).

Real City is the best add-on which ever existed in CS. Might not be pretty, but boy, it makes the game a true simulation.

due to country restrictions it is doubtful this mod will be continued by pc fantasy himself. unless other modders are able to pick it up, it is pretty much dead. Unfortunate, yes. but not much can be done about it without someone capable of picking this, and all the accompanying mods, up..

I have also noticed that if you turn off the option that people will walk if they cannot afford cars the error disappears as well....

After inspecting to source code, a quick workaround is installing https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1312767991
Once the program detects that mod is installed, it won't run error code. :steamfacepalm:

@Tmac86 Real City has a feature that controls ticket prices & how much funding public modes of transportation get. However, if Real City detects TLM is present, it will disable those ticket and funding mechanisms

I keep getting simulation errors when enabled so I can't use it. Also settings say "TransportLinesManager is not running, SPTB function can be used." What is SPTB function?

I found if I have only RealCity and Real Time mods I get popup with the error but I can play with both mods and another mods

I got that RealCity.dll exception as well. I haven't bought the airport dlc yet. It must be somehow interfering with the latest paradox patch

After IP2 was updated to the airport DLC, it seems to have conflicted with RC, causing the building data to be invisible

Uninstalling IP2 and replacing it with TLM may resolve these issues

sorry if this already been answered but why is this incompatible with Rebalanced industries as the reason i have that is the number of trucks/Lorries on the road in vanilla, does this mod help witth this at all.

@Appleduice Well thats something you can try. Another possibility could be changing the ratio of residence to jobs, perhaps if workers are more scarce then businesses will pay them more?

So with all that I am really confused at the fact that my citizens are still living in poverty, not even one household out of thousands are living with any sort of wealth. I've been doing basically everything I can think of and yet it's not had any effect. It is starting to make me feel as if the income granted to the citizens is just not enough and is something I can't do anything about /:

@Future Well there's places close enough to people and far enough away where just walking there isn't the best option for them. I mean I don't even know why people are this poor when more then half of the entire pop has a university education, employment rates are 97% and I have plenty of imports coming into the city. Also that area I mentioned before now has 29K people and a average of 73 bucks per square metre. Most of those buildings I have in that area are also 4-5 levels at least. Overall I have 80K and only now am I starting to see some cars that aren't moving in but not close to as much as I would expect for a city of my size.

I think its just that your citizens are too poor to drive the distance they need. If their job is far from their home, then they wont be able to afford the trip. I've noticed that ususally tourists and a few yellow buildings have cars

@Future I see, well I checked and it's all in red and I have no idea why as they have access to education, health, parks, etc and the average land value is around 42 bucks in the whole city (or whatever currency they use) per squared meter. In one zone it's 63 per square metre and it has almost 10K of my 35K pop and it is all in red. So I have no idea what is going on, also the average land value is lower then it would be cause I thought that if I had some low income areas would allow people to live there to accumulate wealth to then move to higher valued properties but that hasnt worked yet so I don't know if that is helping at all.

I found out what was happening XD
If a resident arrives in the city by car, but he does not have money for a car, "magic" happens after parking the car. The camera instantly flies to the border of the map, and the resident, as I assume, teleports to his new home, and his car disappears. pcfantasy has already responded to this behavior on Github and considers it normal. I understand his logic, but it still looks strange - it's better to give citizens who come by car enough money to justify buying a new house and owning a car. However, I don't remember if new residents can use trains, planes or ships when they first move into the city. So if they can't, this despavn is justified.
To disable this behaivor switch off "Citizen will not use passenger car if they do not have enough money" in mod`s option

I'm glad to be wrong - the problem was in Network Extension 2 and something else, not in Real City. I was sure I did the check without other mods, but I didn't. But I still have problems with Real Construction (I left a comment on the mod page; I will be glad to hear a response).

look at the land value UI and look for any residential buildings that yellow/green-those should have enough money to drive (if there is no/poor public transport is available)

@Future Literally couldn't see a single person on the road that wasn't moving in, everything else were just industry trucks. I mean buying and running a car is expensive but it's weird that out of like 20k people nobody has enough wealth to have a car, it's making all the effort I put into roads kinda pointless :P

Nobody is driving in my cities with this mod and I have no idea why. Though after I unchecked "citizen will not use passenger car if they do not have enough money" it works. Unemployment rate and education are both in good health so I don't know why they don't have enough money to drive a car. Also a good portion of my citizens are in the medium wealth range too and I can't figure it out with the pretty beginner unfreindly guide

Toll booths not working with this mod as far as i can see.

Late response here, If I recalled I do have transportation available to most part of the city. The issue is with all slot of uneducated and well educated are function as intended. For some odd reason all of my educated slots are zeroed. When I check the education population; it does informed me that I have fair amount of of high school graduate.
