What good are "expendable" troops if I can't fire bullets into though them to hit the enemy

Does this mod include Ikit Claw? If not could you add him, he refuses to shoot when there are additional free Skaven Test Subjects involved.

Doesnt seem to be working. Tested in custom battle and campaign. My warpfire throwers wont shoot when units are in front of it. they are positioned just like in the screenshots

@Folian The ai seems to be able to use it but from my experience it seems hesitant, so no mass killing of its own troops!

So they will only shoot into areas where they could potentially injure friendly troops if I order them too? They won't do it on fire at will?

@PIXY_UNICORN yes, but at that point in vanilla they couldn't shoot anyways, they will act like normal but they can fire into the backs of troops, only if you let them

You mentioned that archers fire up and over. But what about handgunners? Are they now going to shoot into the back of their own infantry?

@[Kor]You and Me if your troops are directly behind units they still can't fire, you have to have a little space, and I know it works with the steam SFO right now

I have only tested it with Skaven so far and the only Obstructed result that I received was from terrain. In particular, my Warpfire thrower took out huge swaths of my Skavenslaves last battle.

well, I've tested it with and without mods that effect battles and units still become obstructed. not sure what the problem is

means that units like archers will still fire up in an arc like vanilla instead of shooting their men in the back

I don't think I quite get it. How will they act the same as in vanilla if unit obstruction has been removed for all factions?
