i have a map idea: it's like, up north, there would be a secret passage to some hidden land, not some crazy utopia, just enough fish, whales and fur in the snow-covered soil for you to make a living. agaain, not some gigantic landmassmhidden behind an single file ice-cap wall. just a little snowcovered landmass for a plundering viking-civilization. please, would someone, please, make this? it would be so epic.

I played this it seems, it was the map of russia, huge but surrounded by water even in the south and west and but not so detailed. Anyway... i unsubscribed and subscribed again and now it seems it loaded the correct map.
The only problem i have now is i always start in the same place..bottom right... happened 4 times in a row with different civ's...which is a probability of (1/12)^4 .. is it intentional...or? .....

I have no idea what you were playing, but I have tested this map at length and it DOES look as screenshotted. That screenshot is the minimap from the World Builder.

subscribed....played it...and it...didn't feel like i was playing the same map after about 50 turns exploring with 4+ scouts.. retired and confirmed the map does not look like this. in Mods appears as version: 1-Alpha, name: russia and surrounds
