Okay, so, because of reasons relating to how this mod had to be built, I had to put together a patch to add MicroMachines functionality. It should emerge on the Workshop as soon as it's done getting verified and such. Sorry about the massive delay - I stubbornly tried to work out a way to make this mod patch itself if it found MicroMachines active, and then got consumed by real life matters...

nice mod, still waiting for compatibility with micro machines mod, the addon snaps to the mini replicator but doesn't show any new recipes in the replicator

@The Ringler: Could you post a pastebin etc. link with your starbound.log file in it? Bear in mind, to my knowledge this still doesn't work with Spooky Scary Halloween Special - the issue is on their end.

When using the Reconstructor Addon, some of the Armor sets and Weapons are missing compared to if I used the Separator Addon or Manipulator Addon. 2 Armor sets for both the Separator and Manipulator addons are missing. (Kukulkan and Quetzalcoatl for Manipulator and Cockatrice and Upgraded Cockatrice for Separator.)

As well as the Hydra set and Upgraded Hydra set for the Accelerator addon.

I don't know about any other items that are missing from the Reconstructor addon, these are just the ones I noticed...

@Boy_Mayo you build the add on's as you would anything, then place it directly on top of the replicator directly in the center. If placed properly you should see the Reconstructor change colors. There is a Ring at the very top of the table in the center that should help with lining it up easily.

Removed hatches, craftable augments, and small improvements. Got it working. Added back in SI, and broke it again. Seems like a conflict there. Posted over there as well.

Craftable Augments is throwing a TraversalException when it tries to add a recipe to default recipes, and Small Improvements can't find a breakDropPool to remove. I don't know where the hatches or the fleshdagger come from, but the dagger sounds like the most likely suspect. Try removing Craftable Augments, Small Improvements or whatever gives you the fleshdagger, run the game again and hit me up with an updated .log file.

Ok, I spoke too soon. I installed and then removed and updated Starbound: Universal Expansion (Alpha) and deleted my character .bak files. Now it works.

The Small Improvements author says they also use this mod and suggested another mod conflict.

Small Improvements 1.4 Edition adds a tab to the replicator and maybe it moved around the wrong thing.

I have found a connection. The mod Small Improvements 1.4 Edition is the Reconstructor from starting. I don't know why. I'll leave a message on the other page.

I'm having the same problem. I think it was working for me after the update but I'm not sure. My log file doesn't say anything specific but maybe I don't know what to look for. I have a lot of mods. I'll try to get to the bottom of it if I can.

Seems this isn't working in 1.4 :(. I have it on the replicator but it doesn't do anything; the column stays "compacted" when it is attached.

@Je_Spex: It's just a generic energy ball with a tail. I guess it could count as a stylized comet as well - I was just concerned with making a symbol that could reference all three of the other addon symbols...

There should be no other requirements than what all the other addons have, i.e. place it on a plain Replicator, without other addons on that replicator

@julianhr014: The addons used to build the Reconstructor Addon can be crafted in the Architect's Table, and the copper wire can be crafted in the Atomic Furnace. Picking up any addon should unlock the recipe for the Reconstructor Addon.

Random piece of advice, you should put a note in your description that you need to craft or (more likely for people with saves) pick up an add-on for the recipe to be available.

@Spirend you should add a discussion that talks about well known mod incompatibilites so that people wont sub to both that mod and this one
