So, if this mod is incompatible with certain other mods will I be able to use it with Mixu's unlocker? Also I have a mod that adds 22 build slots to all of the capital cities in the game. Will that interfere with this mod? Or can I have all of those but I have to arrange my load order in a specific way?

Although it was certainly inspired by this mod, the mechanism is completely different.

Any chance to add Ulthuan as the capital for Malekith? The whole civil war is about him trying to become king of Ulthuan.

Really love the mod, works great for me. I've been looking at trying to get Kroq Gar to move his capital to Hexoatl once he controls it, can't figure it out so far. Any advice?

@JewCowboy1776 - for mixu's unlocker it seems if you load it after all the extra faction, etc mods, it works fine.
Need more testing though.

Sup @Stoneforge! love the mod! Top notch work! used to never play without it. any chance u could make a version that's compatible with Mixu's unocker and Mixu's landmarks? Would love to use this mod again but can't go without the landmarks anymore (and yes i know there is a standalone mod that combines the landmarks with this mod but it hasn't been updated in months).

I'm sorry, but is there really an incompatibility issue with Mixu's Unlocker? I've been using it for quite some time but recently it didn't work. After applying the unsub/delete/resub fix, the capital_fix.pack no longer downloads into the data folder.

@Stoneforge Thanks for the suggestion, sadly I've already tried that. It "loads" the save, but all you get is a black screen and you have to exit. I mostly asked since there is a mod on the workshop that seems to combine this with landmarks of the old world, but it *also* combines those with the building slots mod. So I figured if it was possible to use all three, then there might be a way to only use the two I want. C'est la vie.

If the Landmarks mod requires the Unlocker then it won't work with this. If it's save friendly then I guess you could try to start the game with this mod on. Then after saving disable it and enable the Unlocker and force load the save file. It will probably crash or not work at all but it's the only thing I can think of that you could try.

Asking here in the hope I can get an answer, but I'd like to use this mod + landmarks of the old world, but the only mods I can find to use both either requires mixu's unlocker, which messes up this mod, or includes the more building slots mod that I simply have no interest in.

I can't get this to work at all. I've started a new campaign as Imrik and when I confederate the Fortress of Vorag remains my capital. Is there somewhere I need to activate it or click to change capital?

@The Goshdarn Batman! I can confirm that the unlocker screw up this mod, but when you do not play with a custom "custom" just do not load it. The custom faction will work for the AI just you can't chose them. And if you want to play with them just load the unlocker.

But if you're playing as Vlad why do you need to have the unlocker enabled? Just disable it for that particular campaign.

The startpos.esf can only be edited by PFM not RPFM as far as I know. I've tried it.

Anyone got a link or something to a tutorial on how to edit the startpos.esf file with RPFM or something like that? I really want to use this mod to have Drakenhof as my capital playing Vlad, but Mixu's Unlocker overwrites this mod.

I'll look into it though I fear it wood majorly mess up the trade lanes for some of the factions. After all the Oak of Ages is a holy site for the MLG 360 no scope elves but I don't recall there being a capital built there.

Hi there, I know Startpos mods don't typically work together, especially if they edit the same thing, but do you know if this would potentially be compatible with Mixu's unlocker mod, or if a submod could be made?

That happens due to the mod using the old startpos file. I have updated it now so it should work. Otherwise you have to unsubscribe from the mod, delete the capital_fix.pack from your Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data folder and resubscribe to download the updated version.

This is the only mod in my modlist (other than SFO for obvious reasons) that won't show the new legendary lords from the Silent and the Fury DLC. Just a headsup. Hope it can get updated soon.

I agree with Flying Fox. Every playable Wood Elves faction should have Oak of Ages as capital.

I'm not currently using this mod, but I have a suggestion. It seems right to set the capital for the Sisters of Twilight, Drycha and every other woodelf faction at the Oak of Ages.

This mod no longer plays nice with Mixu's Unlocker. Tried disabling all mods, it's just this one that stops the unlocker from working.

forgive me lore-complaining but the capital of The Thousand Maws should be Clar Karond (capital of Shadow Wood in vortex or Obsidian Peaks in ME) not Karond Kar (capital of the broken lands on both maps)
