Making it this fast crashes the game for some reason in Fusion. I'll retry whenever I have some free time.
Once again, this comments section is about THIS MOD and not about other mods.
I may have made an edit to MP parameters as a test, but it's not intended to be played in MP. I've planned a Quake Gameplay Mod for MP and I've probably left some parameter in this while testing.
I don't get what you mean. Do you mean porting it to MP? Because this is only for SP/Coop and not intended for PvP games.
I'm sorry you didn't like it.
The mod is only tested on TSE unfortunately, I haven't tested it for TFE. I've completed the game (TSE) 2 times when testing in the Editor (without cheats) and I could complete it without encountering many problems.
First time I completed the game, it was the first version of the mod (kinda unbalanced), then I rebalanced it a little bit in this version (second time I completed the game in the Editor Testing).
Yes, the mod is not tested for TFE, so that's probably why you're experiencing issues when trying to complete it with my mod.
As for the factors, I made sure that all factors were equally balanced. Enemies speeds and projectile speeds are in line with Sam's capabilities. Reaction times of enemies, instead, are way higher than normal.
In my opinion, this really needs a rebalance. Say, if Sam's speed is multipled by 1.5%, then all other factors should be equally raised by that amount. If the enemies are still too fast, then the base speed should be lowered in increments until a fine balance is reached. But again, that's just my opinion and you have the right to disagree with me.
I played few levels several times and found fixed values for both enemies and player, I then playes the whole game in order to check the values. Did that 2 times for 2 different patches of the mod. Regarding weapons, I've put similar values to Quake on most weapons.
One question before I play: did you use the speed values from the "Faster" multiplayer setting? I timed that in a SSR remake of Quake 1's DM4 and I found out it was the same exact movement speed as in Quake 1.
This is not the right place to ask for this stuff. Comments here are related to this mod and ideas for this mod.
This mod provides fast gameplay for SSHD. That's all it does.
Post either a discussion in the game hub or in a modder's comments section (excluding me, since I've already read it).
Thanks.
Eheh, I couldn't make the Extreme Version for Fusion due to several issues I was having with enemies...
