I love the idea of these units, but I think that they might need a price or upkeep increase, because I cannot begin to share the pain that is known as an army with five of these units. Because even though I was focusing my matchlocks and my archers on them, they refused to die and then if they decide to close to melee range, I basically have to hope to swamp them with my ashigaru and samurai.

@Ripxfel Yeah I highly recommend playing with the Total Carnage mod to double unit sizes, as when I was making these I totally forgot I had that mod installed and became used to the double unit sizes. Ganbatte! You can do it! And hey, I also recommend getting some bribe-skilled metsuke to steal a few more of them for yourself! >:D

I'm playing as ODA, and i'm in realm divide, EVERY ARMY that fights me, has this unit. Oh my fucking god, i almost lose lots of battles. My tactic is fighting them with arrows, it's still painfull..

I think 47 is a good number for a Ronin unit count.

NOTE: Due to a tragic and unexpected computer meltdown, I had to factory reset my machine, losing everything I had. Thanks to severe demoralization, I will likely not be coming back to work on these or any new mods for a very very long time. Thank you all so much for your interest in my mods. I hope you will continue to have fun with them.

2. Faction became rebels

3. Lost 10+ units to 1 ronin unit

4. Marched on, then captured capital

5. 10/10 would lose entire faction to 200 guys again

Great mod, nice touch that each faction can only recruit 1! Makes battles when both sides have one unit of them really interesting and important, as they take a couple of turns to recruit!

@Pieking I will look into that for you, thanks for letting me know. I never play as the Ikko so makes sense I didn't catch it.

@HâVôÇ I have a few other ones, similar to what you described, single men units of various types, katana, naginata, tetsubo, archers, yari, and ninja. Check my workshop for em. They won't take out armies by themselves, and the game bugs them out in the campaign, disbanding their unit after every battle they are in, but feel free to check them out. They are fun for custom matches, and have various abilities, some of them with general abilities.

@author your welcome and so far it didnt do anything and im glad it seems you can only build one at a time so its really perfect for a strong army or mercs, i thought it was going too be one man like in rome2 total war were a it would be one guy army and destroy half of an opposing army. well done! anymore mods on the way?

haha ok then i subscribed, im not into op units i try too make games as hard and strategically diffcult as possible and i hope it doesnt mess with other mods, i have one that adds on Korea up too the top left and makes it a fightable continent and invasion also like the whole of japan so im hoping this one doesnt mess with any other mods. thanks again!

These kind of data isn't relevant to your ronin stats
I simplely delete them
Maybe I was wrong,are they necessary to keep for creating a new unit?

I thought I did, unless punching the Clean Up and Optimize commands before installing it isn't what you mean. I'll double check it manually though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Maybe you should delete other irrelevant data in your pack
in case having conflicts with other mods
