This and Maple Ridge are easily the most fun Halloween-exclusive maps in the game IMO and I just found out they were made by the same person. You've clearly got talent.

the best would be if the objective in stead was something like 'get assists on players killed by the train' but i realise that's not possible (and not decided by you), just a funny idea (and it would make the map so much more fun to 100% + add to the memorability)

to specify even moreso, the pumkin manager controls how many can be spawned at one given time. my suggestion had nothing to do with the contract kill amount (though i would equally like if the bonus objective just didnt exist on the map, given the placement of the pumpkins is so mediocre)

nah im talking about the amount allowed by the pumpkin manager, it's set to be 3 max. but i guess that's on purpose, judging by your remark on how you don't like them on the map. it's a combination of the placement being lackluster and the low max total allowed at once making for a rly terrible experience

Unfortunately this is something controlled by Valve in this case. In the original design, the level purposefully didn't have any explosive pumpkins as they don't promote the healthiest gameplay and are a little overused in Halloween levels. Ideally the map would've had a totally different contract and no pumpkin bombs but unfortunately that's not the case. Sorry!

i noticed the total amount of pumpkins was set to only be 3, this means the contract for pumpkin bomb frags is much harder than it needs to be. could this number be increased? even just doubling it would be much better (though a lot of maps have 10-16).
other maps like sunshine and moldergrove also have a similar issue where the pumpkin bomb count is set to too low (sunshine 8, moldergrove 4) which means the bonus objective is very annoying to do

It's too bad that creators.tf is dead now, it would've made a great map for the rotation.
Maybe someday someone will come around and make new custom map servers.

I'd like to see an End Of The Line themed version of this map for base TF2. Where it's a snowy map, and the train is ripped off from Snowplow. I LOVE this map. It has potential. Love how the point elevates, and changes the gameplay every so often.

What a dope map! Please make a non-Halloween version so it could possibly be put into base TF2. The constantly-moving point is such a cool mechanic!
