Is there any way to toggle this off for random pregenerated characters? (I've just located and downloaded the "no inivisble heads on pregens" mod which might alleivate the worst issue, but if it could be toggled, as well, that would be great. (If not, I guess i'll have to weigh up whether having proper skeletons on my customs if worth it for uneditable randoms.)

sounds like you have two mods that modify the same files. UC doesn't crash my game at all and i have no lag so to speak except a slight delay when editing appearance due to the game needing to load all the customization mods i use.

Has anyone tested to see if this mod still works winthout the Unrestricted Customization mod? That mod gives me awfull lag and always crashes at the start of missions

Sorry to impose, but could you make a version of this mod that doesn't need Unrestricted Customization? I just don't really like that mod.

Well, now i can say i just tried EVERYTHING. "I tried so hard and got so far, in the end it doesn't even matter" because the skulls still being black. I uninstalled all mods, erased workshop directory, edited configs but i still don't know the reason or some solution for Black Skeletons.

This is making me racist...so i'm really thinking that the video card must be the problem here, my drivers are updated by the way. (My video card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M)

Question about these though: Are you able to use torsos and legs other than skeleton ones for these? Having a Skull-headed dude in full armour for example.

Since the latest mega sized tiny patch I no longer get skull heads. Bit by bit it seems that I'm getting less, lol.

I use the chis eyes from the star wars mods and make them evil. Or the glowing psi eyes from the same mod

Is there a no eyeball option/version?

sadly everything is black, like some others have noted, using my Ti 1080 and the latest drivers nothing changes. Windows 10 x64 with all the latest updates.

Not sure why this is happening for me or others.

@Vimes Did you install Missing Packages Fix + Resources? That could be the reason why it appear black

It is strange. I have tried many graphics settings to see if that changes the appearance without success. As noted in the screenshot listed mine is Ti1080 with the latest GPU drivers, and I do not use any overlay like GeForce.
The game, apart from the mods needed to run this, is Vanilla and freshly installed. No other mods etc have ever been installed.

What GPU are you using when you are getting the correct texture for the skeletons to appear..?

My skeleton is entirely black, too. Guess it's now an ashen skeleton.
On a side node, random soldiers from the reaper order sometimes spawn partially as a skeleton wich does look faily interesting. Especially if it's a guy with a bulky torso and then female sekelton legs.

fact is, for all the whiners wanting Venilla versions.... mods like this are mainly doable BECAUSE the WoTC mod tools are so much better than the vanilla ones. and they're separate. also please be aware each set takes out about 60-100 gigs of space.

@Trollsama: the Expansion* War of the Chosen isn't a DLC. it's a full-blown expansion pack that massively improves the game. big difference.
