does this still work?

Hi, the modification idea is good, but the dragon princes are still weak cavalry due to the lack of armor-piercing damage

@Falchion

That is a conflict with other mod. Check to see if other unit stat change mod is active.
(For your information, this mod is not compatible with overhaul mod)
Falchion Jan 28, 2018 @ 9:55am
Cost is increased to 1550, however none of the statistics have been increased.

Remember that the elves even use magic to boost their horse speed follow their will. So I think its a lore friendly mod. If you don't like, don't use it. I really love this mod. Thank you Author so much.

@CheatFriend the steeds of Ellyrion are the fastest and noblest of the beasts of four legs. Fast as the wind and loyal to death, it is the perfect mount for the elven nobility.

@Space Monkey , Axlegolas // Mod changed.

Perhaps increasing the melee attack more would be good?

I mean how often will these guys miss their target? Lol
Space Monkey Oct 11, 2017 @ 8:59am
I think it makes sense to give Dragon Princes fatigue immunity since they would likely have the best steeds it the HE empire (similar to bretonnia), but it seems a bit much for silver helms. Perhaps an ability that just increases fatigue resist would be more suitable?
[PuB] Axlegolas Oct 11, 2017 @ 8:23am
i also miss the immunity to dragon breath. can you somehow implement this?
[PuB] Axlegolas Oct 11, 2017 @ 8:22am
immune to fatigue seems OP. Can't read anything about this in the army books (like physical res too). i also think a bonus versus large should fit quite nicely. in TT they charge with a S 5 (for lances) like normal lanced cavalry. so AP will be tooooooo strong. silverhelms then should have a bonus vs infantry like other shockcav in TW. just my thoughts

Thank you for buffing dragon princes. I found it a little frustrating that by lore, these have trained and have been mastering combat for hundreds of years...and get destroyed by dread knights...

Perhaps that is accurate but I like these guys better.
PLASMA  [author] Oct 11, 2017 @ 4:51am
@grrblt - That makes sense. I will be editing soon. thank you for your feedback.

I agree with the spirit of this mod, but not all the changes. 33% physical resist is way overdoing it, considering they had a measly 6+ general ward save. Phoenix Guard had a 4+ and they only get 30%.

May I suggest also improving their AP damage? Either as a flat increase of AP and decrease of non-AP, or some kind of ability that buffs their AP when charging. Furthermore, I think they would be well served by getting a resistance to Fatigue, like some Bretonnian knights (or is that only in SFO? I can't remember).

honestly these guys are only good in the armour department, they seem to always get mashed up.

If there are any other units you spot that have been implemented strangely, I really like your approach to posting simple patch notes with exact numbers, so I'll favourite any future mods too!
FeralJim Oct 8, 2017 @ 10:46pm
I like that you increased their upkeep and recruitment costs to balance the extra damage reduction and stat boost. Shows you actually *were* trying to be lore faithful, so thumbs up!
