Reverted to 1.5. We cannot update mods to the Definitive Edition fully yet. You'll have to wait another week or so for the Definitive Edition editor to be released.

I wonder why this isn't a default option..maybe it's just a way to add "longevity" to the game by wasting time and hover the cursor on every pixel.

@Kracken: Tooltips are set on the objects themselves, so location doesn't matter. The location you're talking about probably looks like it has lots of tooltipless objects, but the objects might be set up as characters, which can't have tooltips.

This is one of those mods that isn't just incredible, it's essential. Thank you so much!

One little thing, there is one area I found that didn't have tooltips put in. It's not a big deal at all, but I thought you guys might want to know- in the Sallow Man's cave, there is a long strip of land to the west (you have to teleport to get to it). There is a Spirit of a Paladin there, and a ton of corpse piles. I didn't see any tool tips in that area. Again though, its not a big deal and it doesn't really matter since most people probably would never go back there, just letting you know.

I love this mod! I am directionally challenged (get lost easily on the map)... Let there be tooltips doesn't only show me where EVERYTHING is, but it also allows me to use landmarks and to know where I have already visited (by barrels being "empty", etc.). Thank you so much for this mod!

@Darkness: Your "completely different items" issue has nothing to do with the mod. Each tooltip is a property of each object; they're not independent of each other.

this is an absolute fantastic mod. love this. one thing I have noticed and gotten used to now is its not always accurate when dragging items into other party members inventories. theres been times where ive given completely different items despite clicking and dragging one. dont know if this can be fixed or is known about
only downside to this mod (that and the occassional spam because of so many items in one area)

@SolitaryRabbit: downloading mods themselves will not disable achievements as long as you haven't activated them in-game (the main menu of the game will have a mods section, which you can activate or deactivate mods there)

Hi, fantastic mod by the way. Just wanted to comment I noticed a couple small objects were missing, some dead bodies in front of the first shrieker were gareth is held up by magisters. I think a magister, a seeker, and a dead rabbit.

- Added 14 objects from the Origins campaign
- Removed wheels and flower pots

Just updated Let There Be Tooltips in case there were any root template changes in recent patches. Looks like around 20 objects were removed or had their tooltip types updated in those patches. I also removed world tooltips from candles and candleholders pro tem.

@BlackGyver: I initially thought Hover tooltips would be the way to go, but those outlines don't activate when you press the highlight objects key/button. To get only outlines to show, I'd have to add another tooltip type, but only Larian can make that possible. So, can't do it.

Hello! Great mod, but I was wondering if it would be possible to create a less "busy" version of this mod, that would maybe highlight interactables with an outline when pressing the key without necessarily adding tooltips for everything. Know if it's doable? That would be pretty rad!
