Thank you so much!
Fequois  [author] Jun 12, 2022 @ 8:32am
Hmm, I can certainly look into it. When I have the time and if I can find where to change it, I'll post a link to a mod here. Just need to remember as well...
ReđÐeαтħ Jun 12, 2022 @ 8:23am
Hey, any chance this gets ported to WH3?
Skarin Skarinsson Oct 18, 2021 @ 9:03am

Can you make it for just vampiric corruption?
parseval Dec 6, 2020 @ 11:39am
Yep, it was an outdated mod, already deleted it. Now it's working, thanks :)
Fequois  [author] Dec 6, 2020 @ 11:25am
You do not.

Might be a conflict with another mod?
parseval Dec 6, 2020 @ 10:39am
Do I need to start a new save for that to work? Because this mod is not working here, I'm playing with Kroq-Gar btw.
Jsebas78 Dec 5, 2020 @ 7:25pm

@Brightest Light, I don't have time currently, it's not trivial unfortunately.

Updated for the Doomsayer Update.
Bitcoin Barry Apr 8, 2019 @ 8:59pm
can you make a mod that simply slows the visual effects? As in they trigger at higher corruption levels?
Fequois  [author] Apr 3, 2019 @ 11:34pm
Ah, great observation, thanks! I'll certainly look into that and fix it. I'm unfortunately away until the weekend but I'll have a look then. :steamhappy:
flupo42 Apr 3, 2019 @ 7:30am
Hi, I looked into the DB files and I think the reason for the partial corruption effects I reported previously is that your mod only changes religions_table which affects ground/terrain texturing

in the db section there are tables campaign_tree_type_cultures_tables, campaign_tree_types_tables and campaign_tree_variants_tables

These seem like they are have the values responsible for how vegetation looks in regions owned by various factions - so with the mod we get green grass and dead trees all over the map.
Fequois  [author] Jan 24, 2019 @ 11:36am
No worries at all! I'm happy to help, even though, well, I didn't. :D

And yep, the launcher is pretty quirky (to put it mildly). I hope the new one works better. I haven't tried it, but at least it looks promising on screenshots...
flupo42 Jan 24, 2019 @ 5:46am
Resolved the issue.

Apparently CA's launcher was trolling me because despite both showing the mod as enabled and also giving me that warning every time I start the game, that explicitly listed that mod as enabled, it did not actually enable it.

When I switched to using Kaedrin's Mod Manager everything just started working - both this mod and one other that I was having problems with.

Sorry for wasting your time on this - did not expect CA's launcher to bug out like that. I've had a ton of issues with it (in fact I dropped the game for half a year specifically because it kept screwing with my mods so much I realized I spend more time troubleshooting than actually playing), but this case was a on a new level. Previously it would just either abruptly delete the mods or disable them without warning, but not just ignore 2 out of a bunch for no apparent reason.
Fequois  [author] Jan 24, 2019 @ 12:16am
Alright, I've checked their mod pages (although not the mods themselves) and it doesn't read like any of those should cause an issue... but you never know I suppose.

Could you do me one last favour and try with only this mod enabled, all others disabled, just to see if you can get it to work?

Also, do you have any "movie" mods? That is, mods that you have manually popped in your Warhammer directory that aren't downloaded through Steam Workshop.
flupo42 Jan 23, 2019 @ 5:35am
I see. Thank you for taking the time, I will keep fiddling with the list to see where the conflict is. I am currently playing with these:

No Corruption Terrain Effects,
No Local Populace Corruption,
Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords,
No Degradation - Persistent Summons,
Dynamic Garrisons 2,
Unique Vampire Lords + Bloodline Variety!,
Bloodkiss - Expansion, Bloodkiss,
vampiric Influence,
Seductive Vampires,
Proper Undead + Vanilla Hp Regen,
Unlock all Lord Skills,
No Additional Upkeep per Army,
Tier 4 Minor Settlements 2

Fequois  [author] Jan 22, 2019 @ 11:43pm
Alright. It's a global thing so will work on any part of the campaign map. I just double-checked and, indeed, it does work and does not crash.

You simply must have another mod that overrides the changes from this one. Would you be able to tell me which ones you're running?
flupo42 Jan 22, 2019 @ 1:58pm
I am on normal version. For this kind of mod is it a change that needs to be applied on a faction by faction basis, or a more global thing (noticed that Vampire Count Underway Stance mod is working for primary vamp factions. but not Kemmler's Barrow Legion so wondering if it might be same thing?)
Fequois  [author] Jan 22, 2019 @ 8:50am
That is unexpected... it works on my machine. Are you on the normal game version or the Festag beta? If the latter, I'll update mine and check to see if it requires changes.

It doesn't require a new campaign, it's "save compatible" with immediate effect.
flupo42 Jan 21, 2019 @ 4:33pm
Didn't work - still getting this https://imgur.com/a/INzoInl

Forest of Arden owned by me (Barrow Legion) at 40% and Lyonesse at 68%. and compared to untainted Couronne to north

Is the visual effect (or rather lack of it) from the mod, supposed to kick in as soon as savegame is loaded with it active? Or did it have to be on since start of campaign.

(testing together with 'no local populace' mod and that works fine.
Fequois  [author] Jan 21, 2019 @ 7:26am
Hmm, that's strange. It does work, so... can you try to unsubscribe, manually delete the file, and then subscribe again?
flupo42 Jan 21, 2019 @ 6:14am
Is the change from this mod supposed to take effect immediately or does it take time?

I am play as Barrow Legion, conquering Brettonia and am noticing everything dry up while the land is green and lush immediately past my borders.

At one point during the game, TW2 launcher deleted all mods from the Data folder and than kept lying about them still being there. I manually copied them back, and the other mods seem to be working, but not this one.
Fequois  [author] Nov 8, 2018 @ 9:18am
Updated for the Vampire Coast patch. No changes necessary.

No problem, happy to be of service. :)
TsZephyr Sep 2, 2018 @ 3:42pm
Thx a lot. Looking for this kind of mod
Fequois  [author] May 31, 2018 @ 9:17am
Updated for the latest patch.
Fequois  [author] May 17, 2018 @ 12:31am
Sir Jeffers, it only removes the visual effects from Chaos and Vampiric corruption. So yes, is the answer to your question, probably...

... it does not remove any "standard" terrain effects from volcanic regions and such.
Sir Jeffers Dragon Tamer May 12, 2018 @ 8:20pm
So this takes away the dark burned looking land around provinces and settlements? If so thank you, you are an angel I have spent like the last 45mins trying to find this mod or a mod like it.
Fequois  [author] Feb 6, 2018 @ 11:22pm
Yep, you can enable and disable it at any time. :)
Fangvyr Feb 6, 2018 @ 7:04pm
I loaded up my current playthrough and it seems to be fine.
