It wouldn't be too hard for someone that knew what they were doing to replicate it.Though, 6+ years later the list of assets has grown tremendously. It's been a long time since either of us have touched Conan, miss it.

True enough, it's been 13-14 months at this point, and a fresh start is just as viable for another modding group as it is for us to revamp it. Unfortunately that would also not include the once imagined economy system we had in mind behind all of the world assets, but we never settled into that project.

I would love to but 1. thats a large file to push. 2. I would need to dig it out of a compressed archive. 3. Not even sure if the project is still intact to be honest. The likelyhood of me passing the file is slim but possible. But to be honest so much has changed in terms of DT's you are better off starting fresh. The DT's only took me about a week to cook up and QA you should be fine.

I'm glad to provide support on the brain child mod I had Kalvin cobble together in our short time working on this project. I wish the Conan Exiles experiences we had were more stable, but there are far bigger projects to be attended to in the meanwhile. As I mentioned though, Conan Exiles isn't entirely out of mind, it's a very compelling and immersive experience that deserves some future attention eventually.

This mod has not been updated this year, Lola, apologies, bigger projects underway by both designers/developers that were involved with this mod. There is a possibility in the distant future that as Conan Exiles matures into the majority of its proposed features being presented, that we may come back and gussy up a whole new version of the mod.

It might be possible to update it in the future, maybe expand it with the new content, but there's no timeline or priority on that at the moment, many other projects on the books for those involved.

Actually testing this Mod:
1) The building tiles, even the bigger ones, are destroyable by higher weapons, like the hardened steel sword or the weapons from the mod rare weaponry. The buildings shouldnt be destroyable. Admins put them on their server to build little villages or temples, which can be raided, and for immersion. They wont build them up anytime a crew of players burned them down.
2) There are gates on the showed picture of the mod but i didnt find them ingame.
3) The Mod works good with PIPPI. (I`m testing every mod, which is interesting for PvE and immersion, with PIPPI, because PIPPI is a "Must have" for PvE - RP. Its like the Dungeon Master tools from AD&D)

As the game grows closer to its retail launch and locks down more of its indexes going forward, it will be more stable for us to do a full update in the future. We have a couple other development projects in our focus right now with a bit of a break from Conan Exiles.

The objects sadly failed to pass quality assurance, Integrating them back into the mod would require base file access to some of their asset packs they used to make the game.

Unfortunately they can't/won't Nover, it's an unnecessary expansion of 'fluff' for the base game. It would behoove them to allow such assets to be placed by admins in singleplayer though, but it's not on their scope.

But, I'm not certain object that we see in your video (wall and Stygian door, tent of Shemite caravans ...). What to do to have these objects?

Yeah, I would love to partition ownership out but thats a feature kind of deeply embeded in the Game mechanics itself and would be more of something we push for as a community via the asking Funcom, if you make a suggestion post flag me down I will up vote it.

That, unfortunately, requires an overhaul of ownership in general and would be beyond the scope of this mod. We do share your dilemma on that matter as I've built entire cities across a civilization-based RP server once upon a time, and what I did was use dummy steam accounts to create additional guilds named after those civilizations, so not only did the name match those regions, people could join those regions, live in those regions, and access said housing etc.

I also noticed when i place these things they actually show me/guild as owner.. Any way to change that since this is more or less "admin mod that adds to the general enviroment" ?

Yes, all players must have synchronized mods with a server. :)

1: this is great and it still works but items do show as "decayed" after last patch, but so does alot of original game constructions aswell for some reason so i don't know what the problem is.
I counted 44 deeds in the admin panel.
(only tested in solo play so far)

2: just to be sure, this mod is required for all players if i add it to my server?
(even tho this is a "admin mod")

The only report I have seen on collapsed bases was back in the end of November, this may be unrelated but has been reported before: https://steamcommunity.com/app/440900/discussions/3/1488866813757979712/

I don't know whether is the mods or not. Another guy in the server said his base collapsed too. Some days later my base collapsed too and then i used Vanir House and surrounded with Funcoms foundations, then it disappeared.

This guy though is because of using building blocks from other mods together with vanilla mods without having the vanilla mods first on the ground and the rest [non-vanilla blocks] on top.

Maybe is just Funcom.

There has never been a report of any of these assets vanishing, so this would be the first bug report, thank you for very much for the input as I will try to reproduce the issue in a similar enviroment, and I am sorry to hear something went awry @Woodtears D:

I surrounded a Vanir House [high] with vanilla foundations. When I logged in later, and maybe the server had restarted before I logged in, the Vanir House was gone but the foundations were still there. Is it because I mixed those two?

Development has slowed as other research and projects are taking center front, but this mod will likely receive more updates in the future tidying it up; some of it is contingent upon what Funcom does with making certain assets buildable by players, that's what imposed the first stall.

Sorry @Biblical I have some new content to push just waiting for it to fall in line with Funcom so that everything goes smooth, updating mods for Conan is a bear while dealing with G-Portal and a bit because of early access being pushed to full release, the cycles help avoid unecessary updates and mod conflicts. As a bonus I've been adding more and more assets into my workflow during the downtime!
