Since I No Longer Play ARK:SE, and have no plans to play again in the future, This Mod is no longer supported by me.

I'm leaving My "Welcome Crate" Mod up for Admins / Players to try out. It is made from vanilla items, so anyone that has been in the Dev Kit can easily craft one to suit their needs.

@ kob_inuyasha , This mod gives a Welcome Crate of Vanilla Items listed above. The crate is craftable from the players inventory, and can be crafted multiple times by the player. The Engram can be hidden (See Above) so that it is a Giftable Item by Admins Only.

im interested in using this for my server when i start it up but have a question about it. does this give the player a one time item set when they first log into the server or does the admin have to spawn it and give it to the new player?

Well the Sword, Shield, and skins were in the ARK-DevKit's Drop Down list of items that can be put in a container when I made the mod, and I have had multiple members of our group use it. Perhaps you are correct that it is an earlier or beta version, and usable. Members of my clan were interested in it so I gave it to them. I may update the mod and remove it or make GUS.ini options to put whatever admins want in the crate. Anyhow I hope everyone enjoys it.

On a side note, I could tell it's likely a get around or something made to look and behave like ti due to the precence of the Abberant Helmet Skin. Which is likely a copy of the unreleased item made publilc thanks to the mod.

I think I'll pass, I mean it's coded in the game the engram to be able to charge the sword so it can be used properly has to be unlocked. So I am gathering if there able to do it with out the core game unlock (which I know alot of folks tested).. well not going to go there, and if folks enjoy it more power to them.

@ Typhon Perun , I have tested this out on my servers and Newbies Without Tek Engrams are in fact able to use the Tek Sword, and Shield. You are welcome to join any of our servers listed here in the Server Adverts section and give it a try. N-Joy!!!

i searched abberation to try and get the map so i can try it out sence i allready own the dlc. and i find this, weeird

Tek stuff will be usless to a newbie since they haven't unlocked the engram for it.. nice thought though.

@ Jaenis Rael , The ARK:SE Devkit must have Season Pass items in it then cause thats where it was in the drop down list for Container Contents, and I dont own a Season Pass for ARK.

@ Survivor , The Aberration Sword Skin is available in the ARK:SE Devkit's (v268.3) drop down list of items to include in the crate. I liked the look of it and decided to include it since its only a skin. N-Joy!

You can add a server GameUsersettings .
You can control the addition of those items.
