Why do they require Huntsman/summoning? they're skeletons, it should just require Necromancy. maybe necro lvl....5 or 6 at least?

Two things;

1. The summoned Skeletons are AI-Controlled. I like this.
2. What I don't like is that you don't get experience from their kills, Unless I've missed something.

Update for those still trying to edit the mod: The editor uses a seperate set of files for its stats tables, which is why no one else could find the entries even after getting the mod to open in the editor. I've zipped up all the files necessary, but the workshop doesn't seem to allow me to upload multiple files. Due to this, I've uploaded the editor files and moved the wall of text of (updated) instructions to the nexus page for this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/29/?

Like it only gives the option to open arena, shared, original? the mod isn't up and there's no option to search for it

What do I do if SummonSkeleton isn't in the editor? All I see are Original, Shared, Arena and Game_Master.

Is there a way to improve the AI to these things? Instead of attacking one of the 5 enemies surrounding where I placed it, it runs through all of them, taking 5 attacks of opportunity, to go attack the melee guy coming to the fight with full hp... whom he doesn't even reach... what the actual fuck...?

Hello, i got a small problem. Your "instructions on how to edit" is good, but i realy don't understand how can i open this mod. This OS2 editor show ne only projects: Arena, Game_Master, Origins, Shared and don't see something else. Can you please tell, how open this .PAK file.

buttery's link doesn't work for this mod. I can't get any of the stats to load, when I unpack the pak I just get .txt files which the Editor doesn't care about

Prehaps Im missing something, but how do I open up mods? I've done the set up correctly, but I only have the option of editing with the already existing projects and creating new projects.

I've added instructions on how to edit the mod to the description, as well as some images to help clarify. I probably won't be around/able to troubleshoot problems with the editor, so people are on their own from here.

If these could be toned down to totem strength, since they take no summon slot and have a 1 turn cooldown, that would be cool, but as is, this is way too overpowered, even if you were to run a single person, possibly even without Lone Wolf...

Since last night my game crashes when I join a friend's game that he's hosting. We narrowed the crashing down to this mod specifically, as the game only crashes when it is active.

Do you know how to modify their physical armour and magic armour values? I extracted the pak file but cant seem to find the stat related to it.

Considering how many people whine abbout difficulty of the game, it might be just the thing they want, but as someone who finds current totems to be a bit op as is (enemies just cant handle 4 totems being summoned every turn, even if they get oneshot), i am wondering if it would be too much to ask for a variation of this mod, where skeletons are just walking, melee versions of totems? No armor, no magic armor, and get oneshot by anything, as proper meat shield should?

Ok, the mod itself works fine on my machine, and i love the idea. However this mod takes the very concept of "balance" and dumps on it XD Let me explain. Currently, im running a party of 4 summoners, and atm they are lvl 12, on classic difficulty. Bone widow has 1.7k+ health and 160+armor, while uninfused incarnate sits at 500+health and 160+ armor. Then i summon the sceleton and look at his stats... 700+health and 160+ armor! This thing is tankier than ininfused incarnate! You can summon it every turn, and it doesnt count toward the limit! That is ridicolous! at turn 3 i would have 12 skeletons (since none of them would die, due to their tankiness), and if i use "door to eternity", i can get up to 20 skeletons at turn 5!! 20!!!! At this point it doesnt matter what damage they do, they will just bodyblock every single enemy and grind them to dust, while you sit on the side and laugh at how helpless they are!

Nice mod dude! Would love to see you make a follow up mod to this for a stronger monster. My Lohse has turned into a full blown Necromancy / Summoning build now because of this mod and it would be great to have another summon spell for later into the game.

As for the scaling with necromancy skill, I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do this. After seeing how summons are handled internally, I don't think summons have their base stats changed by summoning (other than the champion incarnate, which is actually a seperate entity from the normal incarnate, at skill 10). The tooltip just seems to be a reminder of what the summoning skill does: increase summon damage similar to how necromancy grants leech; and is probably why summons in other skills (such as the bone widow or oil blob) have the same tooltip. The only way I can think of getting necromancy scaling to work is to change the effects of the necromancy skill itself rather than the stats of this ability, which sort of oversteps the bounds of adding in a single spell (and I also have no idea how to do it).
TL;DR Probably not going to happen.

@GeneralKong Make sure the host has the mod installed and enabled. To be extra sure, have all players install the mod. Not sure what problems you're having, but my friend and I could use it fine with the host having it enabled and the other having it installed but disabled.

so now that i have tested this i must say it works quite well . all i could ask for would be diffrent versions of this spell like skeleton archers or summing 3 skellies for 4ap or stuff like that, overall i think this spell is one of if not my top favorite mods so far really good job and well done man

I really wanted this! but please, can you do the skeleton stats based on the necromancer skill? I love the build necro+pyro, I don't want to invest in summon only for the skeleton! Awesome job!

i really love the not counting towards summon limit bit i cant wait to try this, ever since that fight before you free the lich where that one skeleton kept summoning more skeletons i have been waiting for this , too bad i havent finished my vanilla run yet
