LWOTC disables all breakthroughs so this most likely would not work with it unless you edit the configs for LWOTC to re-enable breakthroughs

Is it applicable to LWOTC? I have used it in LWOTC, but it doesn't seem to work. Is it my illusion?

@13Crusader13(TWW2019Top8Winner) that is because Reapers already have a breakthrough for Vektor Rifle in WOTC so no need to add another one with this mod.

Psi Amp damage is shown as +1 when the conventional/magnetic/plasma weapons breakthroughs are researched but there is no damage bonus applied

Just ran into the known issue above. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

@EvilPolygons I have been using my personal version of this mod with the fixes for years ;)

If I am not mistaken, only the mod creator can update the mod so it would have to be Jace.

Jace has been gone for several years. @neIVIesis is listed as a co-author, so technically he could give you permission to update the mod if you two wanted to work something out, I guess. Otherwise you can always fix & rebuild it for personal use.

(Also, I had no idea about issues 2 & 3. Thanks for the heads up!)

Hey Jace, excellent mod! I was checking through the mod files and I found a few minor issues:
1- In X2Download, you made a typo that prevents the configs to work properly "config(MoreBreakhtroughs);", that is why people are not able to disable Avenger Breakthroughs
2- Medium Armor Health affects Kevlar but requires Plated research so it will actually never appear while we use Kevlar
3- Resistance warrior Kevlar is not affected by Medium Armor Health

Im not sure if you are still active but I guess it doesnt hurt to report my findings!

Could I ask that the grenade breakthrough be applied to rockets from Iridar's Rocket Launchers? Or, that a new breakthrough for rockets could be added?

Question for Jace; the Avenger related breakthroughs are still showing up even with the .ini option set to "true". Can you explain how you went about disabling them? Is it an .ini edit, or something deep in the code that you need Modbuddy to access? I'd like to remove the Avenger breakthroughs, and also the Ripjack / Shard Gauntlet breakthroughs as another mod I have bundles those with the sword breakthrough.

Is there a way to edit Grenade and Heavy Weapon damage bonus to +1? This mod seems interesting, but +2 feels a little over the top.

The option to remove Avenger Breakthroughs does not work, I've set it to true, and I am still getting all the crappy construction breakthroughs.

Are you going to create +Psi damage breakthroughs or add Grenade bonuses to claymore? Just wondering. Also, would it be possible to make grenade breakthroughs do +1 damage and +1 shred as opposed to just a flat +2 damage?

Heavy Weapons are things like the Flamethrower or Shredstorm Cannon rather than the grenadiers' gun. Not sure if you're looking at the wrong thing?

"Improved Heavy Weapons" doesn't appear to work for me. I'm using RPGO which increases the base damage of cannons by two and "Weapon Tier Overhaul" which adds Laser and Coil. Afaik these are the only mods I use that change the weapons in any way.

That probably means that you won't see any Spark breakthroughs if you don't have the SLG dlc and can't build Sparks.

I don't know if my mod is the cause, Cahos; the only lines it changes are MaxInspiredTechTimerHours, StartingBreakthroughTechTimerHours and MaxBreakthroughTechTimerHours, set to 504000, 0 and 0 respectively.

They randomly show up but I just ignore 'em when they do.

Hm, that's strange. I only tried it in one campaign and I never got an avenger breakthrough. Maybe it was a coincidence? Theoretically it should work, but I haven't done any serious testing on it. I'll check the code again.

Man you weren't kidding when you said the "disable Avenger Breakthroughs" optional setting is "Use at your own risk" as I did set it to true and yet I still had one of those lame breakthroughs come up in my current early game playthrough.
