Or someone with a real high IQ need to figure out a fix, wink wink... :)
I installed it but i didn't answer any of those musics yet
Thanks!
Seems that my issue was not using that AML which completely turns off vanilla X2 mods.
Works for me.

XCOM1 is EU / EW
XCOM2 is this game
TLE is added by DLC
Is it safe to use both even with the conflict? I use other other mods which require the "Music Modding System" mod.
I see Sethorven use the Half-life music alongside the normal sound track in his live streams
No, unfortunately.

Unfortunately there is no way to trigger the original XCOM2 squad select using the method that this mod is using (switching between wwise states), as it has been entirely replaced by the new one from WOTC. Files are still there somewhere, but I could not figure out how to trigger them (you would have to do custom audio playback the way robojumper's mod does).
Oh. Adding new music. That'd be Music Modding System.

What do you mean?
What I mean is that for some reason, the set that should play this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTkkysQPGhM&list=PL92y0qwKnU6NSp13sViD2iIxwMImf8uir&index=9
ends up playing other tracks, such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e1oyEExLtU&list=PL92y0qwKnU6NSp13sViD2iIxwMImf8uir&index=1
From what I've been told there was a problem with the fact the DLC was made with a different version of WWise, which caused issues with the files. Shouldn't it be possible to create, if necessary, an entirely new WEM file that can replace the current one? Just speculating here.
@Krzyzyk is probably MIA but damn, if the modding community could use his code to make a better MMS for other music packs. That would be the dream!
Does this work with the music modding system mod?
Nope.. The game will load but music modding system takes priority.
Also you will have horrible lag spikes on all loading screens.
You see, it seems that some missions consistently do not play ambient music with this mod active, most likely because the mod doesn't recognize the mission type. I decided to peer into the src folder and see what is going on, but I have to ask about one of the few lines that I think controls the recognition of certain missions:
Let's say for example this line:
if (MissionState.GetMissionSource().OverworldMeshPath == "UI_3D.Overwold_Final.Retaliation")
Where are we finding the retaliation bit at the end? In the default mission sources, I don't recall any of them being named retaliation alone.
Maybe check before posting?
Yeah, that new launcher apparently can't parse .XComMod files with long descriptions. Just use the Alternate Mod Launcher: https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher/wiki/Installation
Wherever could the problem be?
@IAmTheClayman I believe it's ".SquadSelectOST=SquadSelect_TLE" and ".MissionSuccessOST=MissionSuccess_TLE", so you should comment out other from same SquadSelectOST and MissionSuccessOST groups to have only these two played in squad select and mission success screens (just remember that there are two mission success screens, one in tactical gameplay and another after returning back to Avenger).

No, no idea. I don't and have never had the SDK installed.
I'd love to have the old music most of the time and the new for golden path missions and, maybe, Chosen stronghold and facility raids.
