Is there another way to download this mod? Steam is being an ass and not downloading it.

I really like this mod, however with the release of the tactical legacy pack it gets weird. XCOM autocombines available armor parts (torso, legs etc.) to auto generate random soldiers. As with the Ashley outfit, this is not designed to go together with others outfits (there are large blank gaps if you use the legs with other torsos). In the base game you can fix this in the armory by reassembling fitting outfits, but in TLP you can't, so some of the autogenerated soldiers run around in very strange armor combination. So I'm afraid I'll have to unsubscribe for a while.

Oh I love this mod. She's my assault in my third playthrough. Thank you so much for this mod, I freakin love Ash <3.

If you want the skin color to match Ashley's head, use the 'One Million Colors' mod and set skin color to this value:
Red - 69%
Green - 46%
Blue - 31%

I also recommend setting NUM_COLOR_PER_BASE=24 in the INI, so the mod will not take as long on startup.

I have updated all my mods. They all seem to be working judging by a quick test.
Black Frost Oct 22, 2017 @ 7:49am
This mod does not work after the last update of the game. Please update this mod for [WoTC]
TeK DeLorean Sep 24, 2017 @ 11:26am
How did I miss this? Thank you.

So doesn't look like anyone else had my character pool issue from earlier, but I figured I might as well share a possible solution. I was using the WOTC version of XCOM EU/EW Ports, and for some reasons they're the ones causing my "new characters settings aren't saved and get randomized each time I select them in CP" bug. It might be because I can't seem to select No Shins in the menu, it always says Shins: 2. Uninstalling these 3 mods have fixed my CP...

Its the onr i use atm
Gliese581 Sep 15, 2017 @ 1:00pm
Yeah none of the base faces are not that close to Miranda's. However you guys should check out Destroyer's Female Face mod if you haven't. It contains a broader face that is closer to Miranda's and fits quite well.
Savar Belmont Sep 15, 2017 @ 12:24pm
@Samsonian i second this! it wouldst be quite the awesome addon.
Jani Sep 15, 2017 @ 11:20am
I love Mass Effect and I think this is an awesome addition. Thank you! In the future, would you be able to do a Miranda Lawson face to go with Kexx's Miranda Lawson mod?
Reffy Sep 15, 2017 @ 1:10am
The infantry class indeed fits the best for Ashley. I always disliked the classes in XCOM 2, except Psi Operative. The second weapon slot choices is what's bothering me with every class.

Thanks for the mod.

That was a joke. -EDI
Awesome mod man, just ripping on Ashley. At least you didn't make a Jacob Taylor mod.
w00tl00ps Sep 14, 2017 @ 8:39pm
The one Mass Effect MOD that no one ever wanted. Runner up, Kaidan Alenko Squadmate.
AigledeFeu[N7] Sep 14, 2017 @ 8:58am
well, for now, i'll just wait for [GWJ] Kexx for doing something similar. Nice mod Tho!
DrDCB  [author] Sep 14, 2017 @ 8:53am
I do, but I expect people to read the description first. The source texture resolution is clearly detailed.
AigledeFeu[N7] Sep 14, 2017 @ 8:49am
OMG, you don't take feedback?

The unsubscribe button is right over there.
AigledeFeu[N7] Sep 14, 2017 @ 8:27am
Armors are low resolution
DrDCB  [author] Sep 14, 2017 @ 3:19am
I do have some ideas in that regard, but no concrete plans at this stage.
Railgunner2160 Sep 14, 2017 @ 2:57am
Any chance you'll do more of the Mass Effect 1 armors?? Would love to see the Onyx armors...
Plasma Sep 14, 2017 @ 2:37am
I see, I'll try to do that then.
This is very strange, now whenever I create a character in the CP, save it, then reload it, it completely randomizes the character. (old chars are fine though)
I tried deleting configs, removing all mods, and the CP now works properly,so it's definitely one of my many (too many most likely) mods. I'll have to try each one and see which is breaking the CP.
Thanks for your help, and great job on your mods :)
DrDCB  [author] Sep 14, 2017 @ 2:10am
I noticed during testing that the WOTC character pool seems to be broken far more easily than the base game version used to be. If you uninstall or deactivate a mod and then enter the CP screen (without actually selecting a character), you will break that any characters that reference the missing mods. Previously in the base game you had to enter the specific character screen to break it. I'm not sure if that is your issue, but I would advise making a backup of your CP file when you get it set to how you want it. You can then copy it back over the broken one whenever needed.
Plasma Sep 14, 2017 @ 1:30am
I have a weird issue in the Character Pool.
I created a new soldier with the CP, added all these awesome new model, and saved it in a pool. However, when I restart the game, or delete the character and re-import it from the saved pool, the game freezes for 2 seconds, and then completely randomizes my character from voice pack to every single armor part, face etc... All my previous characters are fine, it's only been happening lately. I have a lot mods installed, I'm not sure where to look. Has anyone had this issue before?
DrDCB  [author] Sep 13, 2017 @ 8:43pm
@KAiXA - No, the hair meshes were pulled from ME1 and ME3, just like the armour. All I did was skin the ME3 hair to the same rig the vanilla long wavy hair uses so it could utilise physics.
Destroyer1101 Sep 13, 2017 @ 7:30pm
Awesome, job thanks.
yic17 Sep 13, 2017 @ 6:28pm
Woot thanks for this.
KAiXA Sep 13, 2017 @ 1:01pm
Did you make these hair? It's awesome!
ƦƴѵŁ Sep 13, 2017 @ 12:00pm
Awesome to finally see Ashley in XCOM 2. It's time to kick some ADVENTurous ass.
EvilMonk Sep 13, 2017 @ 11:44am
did not know that i needed this mod, thanks for it :)
Bolem Felan Sep 13, 2017 @ 11:41am
Finally, ash and shepard can destroy advent as team!!
Gliese581 Sep 13, 2017 @ 11:27am
Thanks, looks great!
Popemaster Sep 13, 2017 @ 10:18am
Awesome, thanks for the quick replay and awesome work.
DrDCB  [author] Sep 13, 2017 @ 10:17am
@Pope - It's the same as any other cosmetic mod. You can mix and match however you want.

@Professor Spank It - MEA would probably be easier in some regards, given that it used PBR unlike ME1-3. I'm not sure what the state of the tools for it are currently though, and I deleted the game after playing it so I'm not in a rush to port any of it myself.
Popemaster Sep 13, 2017 @ 10:14am
Question, can you use vanilla armours with her or is it always Mass Effect stuff?
PotatoAim2k1 Sep 13, 2017 @ 10:11am
Man, all of these Mass Effect mods are fantastic. I wonder if it's possible to port some of the armors from Mass Effect Andromeda into this game.
Savar Belmont Sep 13, 2017 @ 9:57am
This is flat out beautiful. Great job!
DrDCB  [author] Sep 13, 2017 @ 9:29am
Because they are a pain in the ass.
Boge Sep 13, 2017 @ 9:25am
Have you ever tried to do their faces? More faces for Xcom 2 would be rad. The SWTOR faces would be awesome too. More hairstyles and facial hair would be excellent. I wonder why nobody does those kinds of mods.
DrDCB  [author] Sep 13, 2017 @ 9:14am
The vanilla hairs are also compatible of course, her face being just a retexture of a vanilla head, so there are plenty of options.
Boge Sep 13, 2017 @ 8:56am
Finally! Thanks for doing multiple hairs too. I always picture her with the bun.
DrDCB  [author] Sep 13, 2017 @ 8:04am
Added support for the use of patterns with the ME3 hardsuit and ME1 Phoenix armours, and associated helmets.
Sovereign246 Sep 13, 2017 @ 6:39am
