WC_qUIck_RCP is no longer necessary as stated by the "LW2" description.

There might be other ways to fix each of their Class Icons too.. a bit more complex. But that would have to wait until next week at least.
Since 2017, a lot of other Mods have flooded the XC2+WC workshop. Some of which are intrusive to default codes (Firaxis) and would require various "fixes" to be compatible with my stuff. Even their method(s) can interfere with regular stability. I'm not here to respond to *THEIR* flaws.
The only solution i found to create a generally stable version is WC_qUIck_LW2; it could replace this for you.
PS; I do use "Proficiency Classes" and it works fine -- but you'd also need to install the *AML* launcher mod to selectively activate specific assets or edit some config files in other mods as well.
Good luck.

And yes, it was constructive criticism with suggested ways to solve problems.
Some like these choices, others prefer alternatives.
Just had to settle on personal variations while still respecting people's opinions, after the facts.
Ps; Someone else has created similar custom Icons but mostly are Cyan only, btw.
The odd thing is that the mod for original XCom 2 *worked* on this computer a few years ago.
1) Let your GTX-1060 card spare some virtual memory for the extensive amount of custom GFX elements my SwappImg/Extension must process.
2) The most reasonable way is to redefine your graphics option(s) with lower values or discard some extra features.
3) Nothing to worry about since 95% of the changes aren't visually "bad" while other components should work more effectively.
Grab this image of *MY* graphics menu (for a RTX-2060, btw) & compare with your current choices ingame.

If that doesn't help enough to at least generate the Rank Icons too on your PC setup.. there's really nothing else i can do.
Lemme know how it goes.
Both mods are correctly installed/registered in the Memory stack as they should;
WC_qUIck == #1133862047
SwappImg == #694875779
That tells me -- possibly, the flaw might come from external conflicts with Hardware limits. Video card or your D:/Program Files/.. accessing. In both cases i really can't do anything to help or fix.
But ... i'll continue with some other (more complex) tests related to the component(s) phase -- be patient.

I have a few mods running now, but nothing should be interfering.
1) Boot the game, Load a Save, Go to the Barracks to just display your list of current Soldiers... then exit the game.
2) That would create a direct analysis of the necessary runtime facts.
3) Go to Win10/User/Documents/MyGames/XCOM2 War of the Chosen/XComGame/Logs folder to get the "Launch.log" file.
4) Zip it & Post it here from some online server/host.
I'll take a look.
2) **IF** you still have my qUIck_RCP mod (for XCom2) active -- it must be un-installed while this WC version is also hooked at runtime. Otherwise, i can only speculate that another Mod is conflicting with the Ranking process or blocks the Array stack when my WebHelper component tries to reset the "img:///UILibrary_Common.rank_" flow cycle.
Well ... you shouldn't have to use this "WC_qUIck_RCP" mod at all when installing the LWoTC version, btw.
In fact, it's highly recommended **NOT** to have both active at the same time as written up in that other Mod description.
The basic technical reasons are far beyond the scope of this discussion.
Further more.. my SwappIMG coded-tool needs to replace some of the Vanilla elements with mine (ranks & other symbols). But, lucky you -- the Classes are processed via INI file instructions.
Thus .. a possible way to prevent such an indirect "swap" method for **JUST** the 4 Class Icons would require editing the XComClassData.INI.
Simply put a semi-column ( ; ) in front of these four lines to "comment" them out as inactive...
IconImage=img:///qUIck_RCPWC_UILibrary.class_ranger
IconImage=img:///qUIck_RCPWC_UILibrary.class_sharpshooter
IconImage=img:///qUIck_RCPWC_UILibrary.class_grenadier
IconImage=img:///qUIck_RCPWC_UILibrary.class_specialist
Done!
How do I restore the 4 classes color to default so I can differential them from your other mod, which has the same color as this one?
For rapid hints.. check out its Xcom2 version (qUIck_LW2 without the WC prefix) in my library.
For those wanting to have Central & Lily own custom class Icons when playing within Legacy/Archives -- all is required is to replace the XComClassData.INI file found into the Config mod-folder (located in #1133862047 of the Steam-Workshop directory) with *THIS* one... (( https://www.dropbox.com/s/h0kvtz4mklcfgef/XComClassData.ini?dl=0 ))
No real absolute need for me to re-compile a new version just for that tiny change. Besides, the newest SDK framework has proven to be quite unstable at this point. Unless Firaxis repairs it.. looks i won't be touching my tricky Mods for fine-tuning attempts anytime soon. :)
Even the newest RankUp Icons should fallback to my colored versions if @vhs stuff hooks to the same naming convention of the vanilla code.
[WOTC] LEB的PsiRebalance?
Unless the ABA classes could supply their own custom GFX files. Not even sure if the author of that Mod would be willing to create a special set of files to ADD extra UPK variations which also would require supplemental code hooks to his assets.
Thank you for your mods. IS it possible to make it compatible with ABA classes? I would like to see your beautiful icons in this mod. I know, it´s probably not, but I just ask...
Maybe make some ini edits or so.. :D thank you
I had made some for the "real" other LW2 before WotC was released... so there might be a relatively simple way to integrate those for that new Perk Pack. But.. people would have to do a few small manual edits into a tricky INI file while adding a custom UPK. Won't recompile the script though.
I'll look into it and run a few tests before calling it effective. Be patient.
Can't quit the game.
