Yo !! I really like the mod you made :) even if it'LL need a little more polishing, is rly cool :steamthumbsup:

Regarding the skirmish, i was trying to play official maps :steamfacepalm: and crashed every time :)) did not see the custom over there :steamfacepalm: dammit.. :))

You did an amazing job with the map/s and porting the ship models... rly nice :steamthumbsup: I just encountred recently, at space map Ventax... 3 or whatever, was all white :)) no space texture background was present :))

I also tried to play a campaign with the cardassians but all map options were grayed out ... ;the dominion and borg appeared on their respective campaign map... odd.

While playing Galactic Conquest as the Borg, my cubes got infected by Federation ships that no-clipped through them and slowly shot them down from within. :steamsad:
I Dont think ANY EAW mod allows you to repair damaged harpoints, Although I do know that the EAWX mods have stations with destroyed hardpoints gain repairable hardpoints after upgrading

Fugazirob, I can't say for this mod (since I haven't played it in a bit) but in most EAW mods you cannot regenerate destroyed hardpoints. Only damaged hardpoints can be repaired.

the mod is so uballanced its annoying, cuz it has so much potencial, bro why is one good ship worth at least 50 or maybe more of avarage ships, im not kidding, some kilngon ships recharge their shields faster than any fleet no matter how big can take them down, and those ships cost like 2 times more, why are starfighter so op, normal ships literally have no chance of killing more than like one bomber squadron, and you can just send 10 bombers to easliy defeat an ai fleet worth tens of thousands and none of the bombers will even get destroyed, normal ships barely even shoot at starfighters, and there is no corvettes or anything, all ships do nothing

Pretty sure. I re-subscribed twice just to make sure. Workshop mods are usually fine on it so I don't think it's a steam deck specific thing. What could cause the mod to not be recognised at all by the game? Do I need to mak sure I've got a specific version? I've got the Gold Pack version if that makes any difference.

I can't get this to work. I've subscribed and downloaded, but it's not showing in the mod list for the game (in the options menu). I've also tried pasting "STEAMMOD=1127805040" into the launch parameters.

I'm playing on the steam deck if that makes any difference, but the game runs fine normally.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

im getting massive endgame lag from this game. the mod is beautiful in other ways, but it becomes barely playable only about 30 weeks in or so.
what can I do about the lag? is this mod 64 bit?

I can't be sure but i think my ships got stuck inside of each other at the beginning of a space battle because they would not move. i could use their abilities but they stayed in the same spot they started in.

Yo Nomada Still love the mod, But do you have a backup of all the ships with the idle fire switched on?
I got tired of losing ships because they dont want to autofire on stuff. If not its not a huge deal I can go mess with it myself but that will taketh time lol.

You should play Star Trek Fleet command to understand points as the fighters.

What's the fun of fighters in this mod? most of the ships don't shoot at them, you have to target them manually. comp doesn't shoot at them either. aviation is practically an imba, especially in ground combat. only obeth frigates, a few cruisers, and among tng ships only prometheus shoot at them.
I tried to create a fleet of ships that can shoot at them, but they get stuck in each other when leaving warp....

Yeah, heavy fire is imba. a few frigates can crush any ship entering the crowd in a second
That's why saber and norway are better than steamrunner. and without this ability, there's no way to know who's more powerful. and durability seems to be the same.

The deploy satellite works but you need search the correct position for the deployment, think at 3D, above or below the ship.
Hangar=shuttle, if you had played Star Trek Fleet command, you would understand the point.
That three ships are different at power.
I would like add more ships. In time.
That proyectile is an automatic ability. In fact I was thinking remove the maximun powerfire, or any increase power ability and leave just that type of abilities.

I still have a few questions about the mod:
- some ships have the “deploy sensor sattelite” ability, it doesn't work
- I also don't understand why most ships need a hangar module. is it just a leftover from the vanilla game?
- is there a difference in firepower between saber, steamrunner, and norway, or are they the same except for the abilities?
- Will new ships be added? I'm most interested in texas, inquiry, interseptor. although they may be too strong for the other races.

I'm trying to follow the directions to activate the AI, and got stuck. I successfully copied the AI folder from the mod directory, but now I am stuck on pasting it over to "\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data\XML" as I do not have an XML folder. Every other folder is present - Art, Audio, Custom Maps, Text, and lots of .meg files. No XML though. Do I create it?

So sorry but do not know the name from the ships in my own mod.:steammocking:

That thing is super dreadnought, the most powerful ship from the TMP era. With that, it would happen the same than with the named Julio Cesar, the dreadnought from the TOS era, it is good with TMP ships, not all but good against many.

Cardassia or Dominion, they have not TOS or TMP ships. Just Dominion wars ships.

About balance, I can tell you how the disruptors from Romulans and Klingons are too poor compared to the phasers and other things.

I'm talking about odyssey class, which is available when building defence station A, at the very end of the list. it's an exelsior based battleship with a design that can't be googled. it has too wild shield regeneration. tng ships can't handle it properly. that's all.
One of the balance problems of the mod. it's like a dominion fighter available at the beginning of a fight and destroying everything. or when federation fights against cardassia who have higher ships from the beginning.
I can accept the coolness of odyssey, since it's a battleship, it should burn, but the balance and performance problems remain.

Yep, the first time that Leman_Source told about the Odyssey, I ignored him because my mind was thinking "he think that the Sovereing is the Odissey and no, it is not the Odyssey".

Both ships are very different, Odyssey is a medium ship, over 300 meters at lenght, the Soveign is a Dreadnought at comparation, over 600 meters at lenght.
