Does this work? Just reading the comments made me think that there's no point in downloading this. I despise timed missions so it'd be nice if it did.

Guys i've got a working solution:
open Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Config. there open DefaultMissions. in the .txt that open, scroll down to : ; -------- Timer
change:
BaseTimerLength_Rookie=7
BaseTimerLength_Veteran=7
BaseTimerLength_Commander=7
BaseTimerLength_Legend=7
Change the number 7 to which ever number. i put 99 in each, so yes, timer goes to 99-98-97 etc so plenty enought to play the maps. Enjoy

Can someone just upload another version of this mod that actually works please? I'm sick of having to fiddle around in .ini files. the whole point of the workshop is that that isn't necessary.

Just to clarify, the opening mission, and the nural transmitter missions so far have had timers

Cannonf0dder is good for getting the game to not crash, but doesn't actually get the timers to stop. Every mission so far still has timers...so thats fun.

Doesn't work at all. No errors, but timers are still there and ticking down. Cannonfodders tip didn't work for me either. Oh well, guess I'm not playing this game, then.

This is perfect. The ticking clock dynamic is one of the main reasons that stop me from replaying. I hate them so much.

Tried this out today, getting an error on load.
Failed to load "Disable timers for WotC" ; Can't find file "Disable Timers for WotC"
Could be a reason people are having issues with the mod.
Looks like you need to delete those spaces.

If anyone wants to do this themselves before the mod is updaeted, sub to the mod, goto steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1125412463\Config

open up the 3 files xcom editor\engine\game.ini and just change "Disable Timers for WotC" to "DisableTimersforWotC"

Yup this doesn't work at all. Lots of crashes.

for me it is without TLP aswell.

Since the mod is essentially just an .ini edit, I'm not really sure how it could be causing a CTD, or how to fix it for that matter.
Is it happening both with and without TLP installed?
