Say can you cook this mod? ^^;;

Gun is Amazing, but does anyone know how to lower the sound of this gun only? It sounds extremely loud compared to other of my gun mods and vanilla weapons, even at some of the lowest audio levels.

big fan of the AK12/15 duo, thank you for giving the rifle the spotlight its deserves!

Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up, turned these into a lower-damage variant of the normal Rifle with a bit more ammo and had a lot of fun using them on some of my more support-focused characters. (pretty much anyone that didn't need the LW SMG mobility boost)

if you're looking for the "Legacy" Version of this mod go here.

@∆ Negativz ∆
Ok, thank you anyway
Mr. Miyagi Oct 10, 2017 @ 11:38am
@Lykos
-Thanks bruh, I actually found that mod and really love it.
In conjustion with a Rifles for Everyone mod, it is the only weapon mod I need.
I just really reeeeeeeeeeeally hate the Nerf gun look of all stock Human weapons in the game.

@napocapo69
Nope. Sorry, I don't port weapons and the CV pack is owned by Krakah, I'm simply a co-creator because my content is in it.
napocapo69 Oct 10, 2017 @ 5:55am
Nice. any plan to port other weapons from the CV pack?
Tox/Fox-7 Sep 19, 2017 @ 5:05am
@Mr. Miyagi - There's already a sniper rifle by Negativz that's awesome. It's even packaged with another assault rifle - AS VAL & VSS Vintorez. You can even edit the INI file by removing a few ";" to turn it into a DMR if you felt so inclined.

At any rate, amazing work, Negativz. Three of the best weapons on the workshop - hands down. Now if you just had a Saiga-12 or 12K style shotgun and a RPK-16 style LMG to go with it, the workshop wouldn't need any other weapon mods.
Mr. Miyagi Sep 12, 2017 @ 9:24pm
This is awesome. Love having the option to just subscribe to one wepon/class in stead of that bloat-ware giant weapon pack that's 1.9 gigs with 80% of the wepons never getting used...

That being said. Would be cool to see some sort of LMG, and Sniper Rifle AK variants like this.

@SgtoPereira>>> Honestly I think the icons are ok as they are. Sure they're brighter than vanilla weapons, but they're close enough.

@SgtoPereira>>> @kaerka
As for additional weapons I don't know. I'm leaning towards the no side simply because I don't really have time. If I put something out, then nice. If not, it's whatever.
SgtoPereira>>> Sep 12, 2017 @ 7:28am
Hello. Your weapons are fantastic and I really enjoy using your "AK-15" rifle. Just a suggestion / request (alias two): could the "icon" of the AK-15 not have a bit less brightness, like the icons of the standard weapons of the game? And may I ask if you intend to make more guns, such as one for the grenadiers and one for the rangers? Thank you!
kaerka Sep 11, 2017 @ 5:52am
mate can you please do something for gunner. and ı enjoy making upgrade, thanks.
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Sep 10, 2017 @ 3:13pm
@Rex705 No this mod doesn't hide it's lower tiers, similar to that of vanilla.
Rex705 Sep 10, 2017 @ 12:31pm
A question. When you upgrade does it hide the lower tier guns? Some gun mods don't hide them and it's really annoying.
MigPost Sep 6, 2017 @ 4:32pm
It took me sometime looking arround but i found the way to do it.

Well i'm doing it directly in the main .ini files so you need to go to Users -> username -> Documents -> My Games -> XCOM 2 -> XCOMGAME -> Config -> XComGameData.ini -> ctrl+f "AssaultRifle_CV" and replace with the Template Name, in this case it will be AK15_CV
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 7:52am
@MigPost It's should be possible, but I have no clue on how. Sorry.

@ChosenAsh ini. files are located in the Steam workshop folder, SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content. From there it's a bunch of guessing and checking on which folder has the mod in it. Try sorting by "Date Modified" and choosing the more recent folders until you find the mod folder. Once you've found it go to the Config folder and the ini. files should be there.
MigPost Sep 4, 2017 @ 6:11am
Hello there. First of all, thanks for the weapons, been using this ones since you released the WotC mod, but i've been wondering if it is possible to make these weapons the starting ones and not the vanilla?
RustieX Sep 3, 2017 @ 12:44pm
where can i find the ini. files in war of the chosen? they are not showing up there but in the vanilla game file?
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Sep 2, 2017 @ 7:51am
Glad to hear.
Sturm Krahe Sep 2, 2017 @ 7:39am
Unsubbing, starting and closing then resubbing and restarting got it to work.
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Sep 2, 2017 @ 5:59am
@Captain Dmitriy Sure. Just give me a few minutes.

@Sturm Try unsubbing and then resubbing. This fixed the issue for a few other people.
Cpt. Dmitriy Sep 2, 2017 @ 3:46am
Are you going to upload it to Nexusmods?
Sturm Krahe Sep 1, 2017 @ 8:12pm
Is there something I need to do to add this weapon to a game in progress? I have it activated but it's not showing up in my armory.
Fraggel vonHelldiddler Sep 1, 2017 @ 4:55pm
Sweet. Finally I can have a proper rifle instead of pew pew toys. You think you can invade earth? Not as long as Michail Kalachinkov rules!
SgtoPereira>>> Sep 1, 2017 @ 1:32pm
Hello. Sensational your rifle, has given life to the game still. Thank you so much for the good work done, congratulations!
Ðrim Sep 1, 2017 @ 1:16pm
@∆ Negativz ∆ Ah I see, mainly asked since E3245 mentioned he wasnt sure if he was gonna update for WotC before.

∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Sep 1, 2017 @ 12:09pm
@• Ðıмoи • Not really. If I make another mod it'll probably be something Magnetic or Plasma based, but until then I'm burnt. Also E3245 will be releasing a weapon pack soon enough that will contain multiple shotguns, machineguns, and snipers.
Ðrim Sep 1, 2017 @ 6:07am
Plans on giving same treatment for the other types of weapons? Shotgun, Cannon, Sniper?
Tomλs2886 Sep 1, 2017 @ 5:37am
You are the fucking greatest.
Element UK Sep 1, 2017 @ 4:39am
Very nice to get rid of the original boring Assault Rifles....however I had to start a new campaign to get this to work.
HptGefrSchnitzel Sep 1, 2017 @ 3:08am
AWESOME !!!!!!
NomadJack Sep 1, 2017 @ 2:38am
Ahh nice! Well done dude, made the mistake of sticking weapon attachments on the vanilla weapons didn't i :( so im kinda forced to use that for now lol XD
nano.Luo Tianyi Sep 1, 2017 @ 1:08am
Nice work, still waiting for the entire collection btw. Laser and plasma are overrated. Projectile and kinetic weaponry ftw.
ψMojave-Rangerψ Aug 31, 2017 @ 10:01pm
thank you!
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Aug 31, 2017 @ 8:07pm
By the way I do like your descriptions for the magnetic and beam variants. I think I might use it.
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Aug 31, 2017 @ 7:59pm
@Spelly I think I see what you're saying, however let me clarify one thing because I'd rather not generate hype for something that might not come.

At some point I'll release the magnetic and beam schematics so you can use the weapon throughout your playthrough, but design-wise the weapon will look the same. As it stands I don't have the desire to spend more time modeling an actual magnetic or beam variant--I'm burnt out. Maybe at a later date, but not any time soon. On another note I do agree with what you're saying in that later variants should cosmetically look like their variants.
Fraggel vonHelldiddler Aug 31, 2017 @ 7:35pm
Magnetic: Miniaturization of the magnetic rail that powers our Mag-line has allowed us to enhance one of the more iconic weapons in our history. While it might look like any other AK, the barrel has been replaced with thousands of miniature electro magnetic coils. The result is far less bulk, but with comparable power.

Plasma: building on our previous success with miniature coils, we have now simply altered them to fit with our advances gained from plasma research. It still looks and feels like a conventional AK rifle, but the end result are the much more destructive plasma bolts. Now all we have to do is device a method to avoid this new AK entering the arsenal of local warlords.
Fraggel vonHelldiddler Aug 31, 2017 @ 7:25pm
@Negativz The reason I ask for cosmetic is that there are a lot of things that alter the damage on weapons. And I would also prefer to have this instead of magnetic AND plasma tier weapons. Tbh I dont like the bulky weapon-style. Even if it was 100% carbon-fiber, the vanilla weapons would weigh in at a minimum of 10kg. Suspension of disbelief is too much for me. Oh, and the rifle looks dope a.f.
TreeTree Aug 31, 2017 @ 7:21pm
Thanks ~ !!!
∆ Negativz ∆  [author] Aug 31, 2017 @ 6:34pm
@Spelly The stats are the same as vanilla conventional weapons. I'm considering doing a magnetic tier schematic just so people can use it midgame.

@Spellthis Not sure what you mean by that, but if you're asking if there's a magnetic or beam tier then not at the moment.
Fraggel vonHelldiddler Aug 31, 2017 @ 6:10pm
any chance to get this as a cosmetic option to all weapon-tiers? I dont want to mess with the game balance overly much. Ty for any response, even if it is a negative.
Spellthis Aug 31, 2017 @ 5:30pm
does it scale with new weapon tiers?
