I'll be honest I thought I was going crazy It seems the only armor missing is Reaper armor that was the deco for Skeleton. I think it's just the torso and shoulders needed as the bottom looked like heavy carapace to me. Don't think there is anything to be done but figured I would leave this comment for anyone else thinking they were crazy for remembering an alternate skeleton suit.

What is this called in the Manage Mods list?
Kinsect May 9, 2023 @ 4:14pm
The Skeleton suit hook shot is in the Augments: XCOM Prosthetics mod

Say does the Skeleton armor come with it's grappling hook?

One Steam tag should be sufficient!

Have these mods always had integration with unrestricted customization or is another mod I have doing it?
Sifo-Dyaz Nutz Oct 13, 2018 @ 6:52am
Well, I'm an idiot, I was accidentally still subscribed to the vanilla version and they were conflicting. Mystery solved.
Sifo-Dyaz Nutz Oct 12, 2018 @ 8:42pm
Having a couple of different issues -- not sure if they're related.

1. A few pieces have completely black textures, like they're missing. Looks like both AR and laser AR shoulder pieces, as well as almost all of the heavy carapace gear, for both males and females. Screenshot below.

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/946211792293546751/6D37F59EDA7FE38847E83488B9AC4F10DFB560BA/

2. A lot of the new body slots don't seem to do anything -- specifically the thighs, shins, forearms, and torso gear slots, with the sole exception of the torso LMG kit.

Thanks! I really enjoyed using this armor in vanilla XCOM 2 and I'd love to keep using it in WOTC.

Fantastic mod.
endersblade Sep 30, 2017 @ 10:07am
Ah, thanks for that!

@endersblade he made the link above for "empty" option mod. Here is the link http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1127014384

Is there a reason there isn't a 'none' option for the torso kit addon? If you open up the menu it applies one to your soldier, no matter if you chose it or not, and there's no way to get it off. That's highly annoying. I'll give the torso fix you posted in the description a try and see if that will at least remove it, but we seriously need a 'none' option. I'm afraid to touch the other kit addon slots (thighs and shins) for fear of permanently messing up a soldier again.
zonage Sep 15, 2017 @ 8:39am
The flags are bugging out on female carapace torsos. Any way to fix it or is it a known issue?
Rand al'Thor Sep 11, 2017 @ 6:49pm
The weird modularity of this or the sneaksuit mod (or both) keeps making my chestpiecees disappear.
Caliell Sep 11, 2017 @ 4:59am
Need option to make thighs attachment invisible. Currently thigh's slot causes weird glitches where plating from legs could not be detached since there is no option to get rid of thigh slot.
GrimAtrament Sep 8, 2017 @ 3:15pm
so this armors just cosmetics right?
Dentedhelm Sep 6, 2017 @ 3:57pm
This is a *fantastic* series of mods and I'm so glad to see the new additions and prompt update for WoTC! :D

That said, I'd like to flag a bug I've noticed where there's no option to remove some of the extra options, notably shins. I've got to choose between one or the other shins options, but there's no "empty" selection.

Thanks so much for this mod and the work you've put into it! :)
Supernatural Cookie Sep 6, 2017 @ 2:13pm
I'm like changing my mods -constantly- so yeah probably. I just figured since this mod had a similar problem ya might know a solution, though a half arsed one seems to be using the Uniform Mod manager thingie.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 6, 2017 @ 2:45am
Its not this one, haven't touched the WOTC classes yet. Maybe check game integrity? Did you change any of your mods in the last few days?
Supernatural Cookie Sep 5, 2017 @ 7:13pm
I'm not sure if its this mod thats causing it or not, but figure I'll ask here anyways. I seem to be havin a similar issue with missing torsos but for my Templars and I'm not sure how to fix it. The menus to even change bodies and such are straight up missing. The fix in the readme worked for the base classes, but not sure how to fix the other ones.
harlequin565 Sep 5, 2017 @ 11:55am
Just have to comment and say what a huge improvement this is over "old" vanilla versions (which were brill as well). The added chest pieces, the way the torsos fit most leg & arm options... These three mods alone add a ton of flexible customisation. Thankyou.
Cynath Sep 5, 2017 @ 11:47am
thanks Mr!
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 5, 2017 @ 10:16am
Nope, if you never used it before you won't be affected.
Cynath Sep 5, 2017 @ 8:46am
hey there, a quick question, were I to subscribe to the mod right now, would I have to deal with the whole empty torso debacle? thanks in advance!
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 5, 2017 @ 3:26am
@Flavius could you try extracting this [sta.sh] into your YourSteamLocation\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods folder, makes sure it's active in your xcom launcher of choice, and see if it helps? if it doesn't we can ignore the ini files.....and also I'd be out of ideas on why it's not working for you.

Reinstalling game or mods won't have any affect and the mods you've listed don't seem to have and anything changed in the last few days, so they shouldn't be the culprit.
Flavius Sep 4, 2017 @ 7:29pm
Sorry, didnt finish my thought (wife distracted me), so what would be the correct steps to fix this if someone were willing to try anything/uninstall anything? Uninstalling all my mods? Would that even work though or would my save game still be goofed?

What about finding the file that got overwritten in the base game files? Would there be a way to add back the Torso menu to the base game files? Sorry, dont know enough about modding to know what I'm trying to fix.
Flavius Sep 4, 2017 @ 7:23pm
Heya, no i have some other mods installed, (CapNbubs, Stenchfury, WA's Custom Gear). Tose are my only cosmetic mods effecting the body pieces (I have one for tattoos, one for facepaints and one for hair colors too). I had all these mods before installing yours and experiencing the problems. Maybe a conflict between two mods?

My biggest problem at this point, is I dont know how to fix it, no matter how extreme the measures I take. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled last night (without reinstalling the mod) and still have the issue. Would a new game fix it?

Jsut not sure what to do to resolve it.
Phillip Weedmore Coughman Sep 4, 2017 @ 3:03pm
the deco torso and shin menus dont have a "none" option, if your soldier spawns with a torso or shin deco piece on, or you click on the menu at all, there is no option to take the armor piece back off
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 1:08pm
Sorry afk, hmm the top right image looks like you're editing the right file, not sure what you mean about file's' though, you should only be editing the one in the config folder. Did the ini fix help qith any of the soldiers at all? And is this the only mod you have? If the fix fixed some soldiers, the others are bugged because of another mod.

The leg menu issue is known, unsure if it's a game bug, apperantly mine are not the only mods to have this issie.
Flavius Sep 4, 2017 @ 11:28am
Thanks man, I appreciate the willingness to help. Here are some screen grabs:
https://imgur.com/ppmgjcc

The top two are the XComContent.ini files I applied the tweaks to (per instructions below). The four pictures around the sides at the bottom show the four impacted soldiers . The picturei n the center I thought I'd pass along as well. For some reason a few legs menues are showing up bigger than normal, are not scrollable, and are oddly cut off at the bottom. Let me know if you want a higher res version of any of these pics and I'll upload them seperately.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 11:03am
@Flavius There is no way of wiping the memory unfortunately, how are you applying the fix, tell me the exact steps, which folder you went to, which file you edited, screenshots would also make it easier to figure out what is going wrong.

As it stands, it's only you having this problem, either the fix is being applied wrong, or it's another mod causing this issue. And no reinstalling wouldn't have changed anything.
tfC. PownUnoobs Sep 4, 2017 @ 10:54am
I'm loving the new decos. But any chance you'd be willing to add "none" options to them? Once we select one, we're locked into having one currently.

Thanks
Flavius Sep 4, 2017 @ 10:37am
To confirm after re-sbuscribing to the mods, and attempting to reapply the fixes, this fixed roughly half my character with this issue. The other half still show no options under customize>body for torso (or anything other than color, armor patter and tattoos).

This only appears to apply to T2 armor (I dont have T3 yet to confirm), but if I switch the char back to basic armor they get the customize options back. Switching to spider suit resolves the problem as well, so it seems to be specifically related to the Predator Armor for select characters.

Is there any way to wipe the "memory" of a character's uniform and have them default to a basic one that I can then change? If I could get the game to "forget" what is currently equipped, I'd think that would solve it.
Flavius Sep 4, 2017 @ 10:05am
... I uninstalled and reinstalled last night without the EU/EW mod and it didnt fix the problem. Still missing options in the "body" menu. Should the reinstall have fixed it or does it save some config/setting stuff? Is it somehow saving the setting in this play-through's save file?

I hate to start over when I'm halfway through the campaign.

Not sure what I should do to fix this if a reinstall doesnt help. Any ideas/other thoughts on what I could do? (I followed the instructions listed multiple times, both pasting it to the top of the file and to the bottom).
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 8:52am
Old lines when Alien Hunters came out, I commented them out when the animations didn't work, never looked at it again. Some of them work, some dont.
Robbie922004 Sep 4, 2017 @ 7:59am
I noticed when I was looking through the .ini that this stuff is (seemingly) supposed to appear as an option for the Serpent suit/armor, but it's not appearing for me. I actually don't mind because I wasn't planning on using the snake costume this game anyway, but figured I'd pass it along in case it's a bug.
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 5:41am
@Flavius I've updated the desciption with clearer fix instructions, it may help

Anyone with the T2 Deco stuck at T3 issue, T3 has been updated, the game doesn't auto upgrade the deco so you have to do it manually, I can't do much about that, it's a code thing
Mr Kablamm0fish  [author] Sep 4, 2017 @ 2:46am
@Flavius Apologies, had been bug fixing stuff the whole day, got a bit...vexed.

Robbies instructions are way more clear than mine and is indeed how to fix it. If it's not working out there's something you've done wrong on your side.

There is no commenting require as I've already commented out anything required in the readme to try and reduce....well this happening.

@Robbie, can I stick your comment at the top of the mod description? You explained it really well.
Flavius Sep 3, 2017 @ 8:31pm
I've done that (first pasted to the top as describted by Mr Kablam below, and now to the bottom as you indicate and do nothing to fix it. I still see the "Body" options menu with almost no options (Color, pattern, tattoo).

Do I need to "uncomment" something as he refers to? How do I do that?

Since it is bedtime now (yikes, I've been at this for 2 hours now...), if I just reinstall will it be fixed?

Thanks for your help
Robbie922004 Sep 3, 2017 @ 8:24pm
Here are exact instructions for people who are confused.

Navigate to your steam folder, look inside \steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1124524679

Open the config folder, and open XCOMGameContent in the your text editor of choice (Notepad is fine, I use Notepad++). If you use Notepad, turn Word Wrap off for ease of reading.

https://pastebin.com/0XA4gpcH

^Copy everything from that and paste it at the bottom of XCOMGameContent exactly as it is. Save the file.

And you'll be able to fix your invisible torso.
Boisegangpc Sep 3, 2017 @ 8:19pm
ETA on a fix?
Flavius Sep 3, 2017 @ 8:14pm
maybe it has to do with uncommenting? Not sure I know how to do that, i tried deleting the ; before the lines but didnt work. This sucks, deleting the mod doesnt even fix it.
Flavius Sep 3, 2017 @ 7:16pm
So i tried what is in the readme following the instructions there plus what you left for the other guy below, (pasting it after [XComGame.X2BodyPartTemplateManager] line) and still have the same problem. =/

Can this be uninstalled somehow? Is there any other way to fix my game? Will a clean reinstall do it and if so will I lose all my other mods too?
Flavius Sep 3, 2017 @ 7:02pm
"Empty torso fix in readme"

... ya, I get that (and the snark is appreciated), but I didn't find the readme clear on if this is the fix for my issue (missing options to fix) or the fix for the issue others are here talking about.

Will an update to the mod eventually fix this issue? I'm not a fan of screwing around in the ini files (since I'm not a modder) and as such was hoping an update to the mod would resolve this.
Robbie922004 Sep 3, 2017 @ 6:11pm
@j2deline Subscribe to this mod: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1127014384

@ultimentra Copy and paste the section from the readme into the XCOMGameContent found in the mod's directory and load the game with the mod active. That simple.
ultimentra Sep 3, 2017 @ 5:14pm
Ugh god the instructions really aren't clear in the readme for how to fix this. Thanks for breaking my game. Unsubbing from this mod only makes it worse. I just want to fix my guys and then unsub from your mod. Thanks again.
Badger Sep 3, 2017 @ 4:37pm
Also having the issue of unremovable carapace extras. I'm only on T2 armour, was dicking around trying combinations. Opened the menu that has the carapace heavy parts in it, it automatically applied it and has no option to remove it. I think a "None" option would fix it.
Robbie922004 Sep 3, 2017 @ 2:17pm
Okay, got a quick and dirty fix going.

I've always edited the .ini of the tier 2 stuff to let me use it into tier 3 (I love dat heavy carapace armor). I did it as I always do, then subscribed to your empty slot mod found here: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1127014384

Since I add the tier two stuff to tier 3, it lets you select all the appropriate slots, and then empty them using the empty mod.

If anybody else wants to do the same thing (or if you'd like to allow Tier 2 stuff in Tier 3 at any point in the future), just add this onto the end of yoru XCOMContent.ini found in the mod's folder.

Hope it helps!

"Empty torso fix in readme"
Flavius Sep 3, 2017 @ 2:04pm
Reading the comments, I'm assuming this mod is the reason I have troops showing up with no arms/torso/legs and then when I go to customize and "body" I get no options in the menu to choose any of those things (meaning I cant switch out)?

I've installed the other mod suggested in the description, but I still have the same problem as Evil Sandwich below (in his picture) ... do I have to do INI stuff to fix this? Spent 30 mins just researching the issue and am now out of time to play until tonight.

Unchecking the mods doesnt even seem to help. Is my game now permanently borked without figuring out how to edit stuff in the files?
