War of the Chosen
NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!
1. A few pieces have completely black textures, like they're missing. Looks like both AR and laser AR shoulder pieces, as well as almost all of the heavy carapace gear, for both males and females. Screenshot below.

2. A lot of the new body slots don't seem to do anything -- specifically the thighs, shins, forearms, and torso gear slots, with the sole exception of the torso LMG kit.
Thanks! I really enjoyed using this armor in vanilla XCOM 2 and I'd love to keep using it in WOTC.
That said, I'd like to flag a bug I've noticed where there's no option to remove some of the extra options, notably shins. I've got to choose between one or the other shins options, but there's no "empty" selection.
Thanks so much for this mod and the work you've put into it! :)
Reinstalling game or mods won't have any affect and the mods you've listed don't seem to have and anything changed in the last few days, so they shouldn't be the culprit.
What about finding the file that got overwritten in the base game files? Would there be a way to add back the Torso menu to the base game files? Sorry, dont know enough about modding to know what I'm trying to fix.
My biggest problem at this point, is I dont know how to fix it, no matter how extreme the measures I take. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled last night (without reinstalling the mod) and still have the issue. Would a new game fix it?
Jsut not sure what to do to resolve it.
The leg menu issue is known, unsure if it's a game bug, apperantly mine are not the only mods to have this issie.

The top two are the XComContent.ini files I applied the tweaks to (per instructions below). The four pictures around the sides at the bottom show the four impacted soldiers . The picturei n the center I thought I'd pass along as well. For some reason a few legs menues are showing up bigger than normal, are not scrollable, and are oddly cut off at the bottom. Let me know if you want a higher res version of any of these pics and I'll upload them seperately.
As it stands, it's only you having this problem, either the fix is being applied wrong, or it's another mod causing this issue. And no reinstalling wouldn't have changed anything.
Thanks
This only appears to apply to T2 armor (I dont have T3 yet to confirm), but if I switch the char back to basic armor they get the customize options back. Switching to spider suit resolves the problem as well, so it seems to be specifically related to the Predator Armor for select characters.
Is there any way to wipe the "memory" of a character's uniform and have them default to a basic one that I can then change? If I could get the game to "forget" what is currently equipped, I'd think that would solve it.
I hate to start over when I'm halfway through the campaign.
Not sure what I should do to fix this if a reinstall doesnt help. Any ideas/other thoughts on what I could do? (I followed the instructions listed multiple times, both pasting it to the top of the file and to the bottom).
Anyone with the T2 Deco stuck at T3 issue, T3 has been updated, the game doesn't auto upgrade the deco so you have to do it manually, I can't do much about that, it's a code thing
Robbies instructions are way more clear than mine and is indeed how to fix it. If it's not working out there's something you've done wrong on your side.
There is no commenting require as I've already commented out anything required in the readme to try and reduce....well this happening.
@Robbie, can I stick your comment at the top of the mod description? You explained it really well.
Do I need to "uncomment" something as he refers to? How do I do that?
Since it is bedtime now (yikes, I've been at this for 2 hours now...), if I just reinstall will it be fixed?
Thanks for your help
Navigate to your steam folder, look inside \steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1124524679
Open the config folder, and open XCOMGameContent in the your text editor of choice (Notepad is fine, I use Notepad++). If you use Notepad, turn Word Wrap off for ease of reading.

^Copy everything from that and paste it at the bottom of XCOMGameContent exactly as it is. Save the file.
And you'll be able to fix your invisible torso.
Can this be uninstalled somehow? Is there any other way to fix my game? Will a clean reinstall do it and if so will I lose all my other mods too?
... ya, I get that (and the snark is appreciated), but I didn't find the readme clear on if this is the fix for my issue (missing options to fix) or the fix for the issue others are here talking about.
Will an update to the mod eventually fix this issue? I'm not a fan of screwing around in the ini files (since I'm not a modder) and as such was hoping an update to the mod would resolve this.
@ultimentra Copy and paste the section from the readme into the XCOMGameContent found in the mod's directory and load the game with the mod active. That simple.
I've always edited the .ini of the tier 2 stuff to let me use it into tier 3 (I love dat heavy carapace armor). I did it as I always do, then subscribed to your empty slot mod found here: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1127014384
Since I add the tier two stuff to tier 3, it lets you select all the appropriate slots, and then empty them using the empty mod.
If anybody else wants to do the same thing (or if you'd like to allow Tier 2 stuff in Tier 3 at any point in the future), just add this onto the end of yoru XCOMContent.ini found in the mod's folder.

Hope it helps!
I've installed the other mod suggested in the description, but I still have the same problem as Evil Sandwich below (in his picture) ... do I have to do INI stuff to fix this? Spent 30 mins just researching the issue and am now out of time to play until tonight.
Unchecking the mods doesnt even seem to help. Is my game now permanently borked without figuring out how to edit stuff in the files?
