No orange ?
- FINALLY added proper tint to Viper's Armor and Helmet
- Armor texture improvements
- Glow is now available for Viper
- Red Version for Viper Armor and Helmet also available!
- Mod size improvement
IMPORTANT! YOU MUST UNSUB FROM SHAMPOOH'S IMPROVED VIPER TEXTURES MOD OR THAT WILL OVERRIDE THIS MOD'S CHANGES.
Enjoy!
And vector is life insurance. Thanks for the great content.
And remember, speed is life son.
Given that other mods also struggle with this (namely the other Titanfall customization pack), I guess this might be a more difficult task than it seems to be.
Otherwise this is a good mod, and I look forward to making troopers that use its' components.
Thank you for your tip!
Turns out, that was all I needed to do. Make sure everything is properly copied over (including the ModPreview image), clean solution, and build! It's up now in my workshop submissions. :)
What I tried doing is this:
- Kept the Vanilla Viper and brought it over to WotC's Firaxis Modbuddy folder.
- Created a new BLANK solution (WotC_Titanfall2Viper)
- Copied old assets from Vanilla Viper and pasted it to the BLANK solution
- Rewritten some files (XComContent, XComGame, etc.) to match the lines appropriately.
- Rebuilt it
- Debugged it
It took me some time. But here's what I got if you want to do make a copy for compatibility for WotC. I hope this helps!
I've been working on trying to update my mod, Derejin Accessories Pack, to work with WOTC, but no dice yet.
I've:
-Downloaded the full version of the WOTC modbuddy
-Recompiled my mod in it (Rebuild Solution)
-Checked the materials et al inside of the new Editor, no NULL references (and they preview fine)
-Entered Debugger
Result: if I equip one of my new props (this occurs for any of 'em), they show up black and give me the following Redscreen text:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B23ooTXNy9x4SDY1eGIxbC0zUUE
(sometimes there's a third line of SoldierArmorCustomizable_TC - tried this multiple times).
Any tips for updating? I'm uncertain what's causing them to show up black, nor why this "error" pops up.
I don't suppose it's possible to get the visor to glow as it does in TF2?
Whenever you try to select the color black its more of a brown then black.
Every other color works as far as I have seen
Thanks a lot mate!
@Wildling Beard No probs!
