You're right it's so expensive especially if you don't make use of the attractions and facilities. I found when i've visited America the value seems better but thats probably because the tickets come in packages we buy before we come over

I miss the days of going to the parks and enjoying the rides.

The second video they call it an Ice Jet and use smoke and laser lights some time on it and an interesting lighting design.

The first video is what I basicly know but in my old Park it was a fun fair style set up with a background instead and open top.

Looking at the pictures on this one I can see the ride a lot more that I remember other than the one I road on had a winter theme to it and was all blues and whites on the Matterhorn with snowy winter mountains and trees in the background suround board.

When i build my first static ride (KMG Speed) it took me about a week and it was an awful model haha, but i kept practicing and am able to make things in a few hours. Complex rides take a day or two sometimes, like the Superbowl which took two days

I know exactly what you mean. I always find building an actual building in a theme park for eaxample really tedious and boring personally. It does take a long time and i dont have much time really and will have even less time in a couple of weeks so building buildings is a no for me haha or at elast not right now. Especially with the amazing ones on the workshop, i just sub them. Thats right but the objects in game can give som amazing effects for them though. Keep at it, it is time consuming but you learn and become efficient in the end

I just started the Miss Elly Campain in the game so of course I started to create buildings to work with what's in those parks matching wise. My only problem is attention to silly details that are never used in the game which is a bit time consuming and adds to the price of them as well of course.

Floors, cealings, rafters, stairways up to them and internal doors and windows that most will never notice and proper suports for roofs and what not. LOL

Actuallly I would not be surprised if you did seeing they are older amusment parks that have been open since I was a child over 35 years ago.

We have Lake Compounce and Quassy amusment parks in Connecticut.

I'm not familiar with conneticut, i don't think i've ever been. The only parks i've been to are Coney island and Six Flags Great Adventure that are close to Conneticut i think lol. I'm not sure to be honest haha

At least in my state I live in now, Connecticut, there are a couple of smaller Parks so your not forced to go to 6 Flags New England.

Hahaha i absolutely hate that meteor ride, i went on it a few months back with the young one and hated every moment of it lol. Yep the rotors beed about for a while. Wow thats really bad that it. I think in the US they have a much larger radius than here so i imagine there was quite a few people and must have been much faster and higher forces im guessing too. haha and uncomfortable, well here at least, i never rode one in the US, i've only been to the big theme parks on my visits there.

Yes sir that is the ride you gave a link to and now that you said it I also remember the Rotor Name as well.
Riverside park ended up removing it after it broke away when tilted all the way up and almost killed everyone on the ride and several in it's path.

The ride was scary enough without that happening.

Oh yes i absolutely agree there hahaha. But it was very strange, i had no idea they was making it or planning it and then nect thing they suddenly produce that ride out of all possible rides lol.

We have that also but here in the UK its called the Rotor. It still floats about a bit but it can be a bigh rough so i generally pass on that one hahaha

LOL considering how many rides are out there old and new I'm sure many run into each other.

There was a flat ride when I was a kid that dissapeared you stand up in it it's a giant wheel your standing in it starts to spin then tilts up slowly till it hits a total virtical spin.

There was also another ride where you ended up sticking to the wall it spins so fast then the floor drops out from under you and your stuck to the walls.

What you mean on the main page??? oh the forums yes i know. I have never signed up to it or anything before, but i have read about people requesting more rides on there before. It's weird because when i made my Tango ride, a short while after i got a message saying have you seen the new ride, which was the Pafos ride.......very odd indeed lol

You might have to advertise your creations on the Main website for the game to get some attention. They usually do not pay attention to steam only the youtube presentation spot-lighters do.
But again this is an I think deal not specificly sure. But I do see a lot more responces on the Frontier forums from the game dev's on this one.

It's amazing lots of people tell me i should speak to the develpoers about my creations but i haven't just yet lol. I wouldn't even know how to contact them to be honest hahaha. I trust they'd do a good job on them, though i'd like to make them myself really.

It is a pity you're right. I see so many amazing and creative things thats truly amazing. Its a shame because to make something cool usually requires a massive amount of objects or detail to be used which of course hinders everyones computers. I try to use as low object count as i can but sometimes it's hard, sometimes i have to in order to make the ride look accurate. It's difficult but i personally enjoy the challenge .

Maybe you should point out all those static rides to the game Developers who knows maybe they will make more flat rides based on your creations from memory. I'm sure all of them can be looked up online to get actual info about them.

As to my heart I am screwed I was on the transplant list until they found a brain tumor that got me booted off the list. I can go into a Hospice center but prefer to stay in my own home. But thanks for the well wishes. I'm the last person left in my family on both-sides so I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later.

Oh dear me im sorry i didn't know it was so bad. Do be careful with that, it's not worth serious injury or worse. It sounds awful. Well we all try to make it better lol. I don't know if i make it any better though haha, maybe if they was functioning even as scenery to begin with, then that would make a huge difference i think. I've made about 43 static rides now and still continuing to make them but i have to be honest i'm starting to run out of ideas of what to make once i've finished the last few on my list now, i think i have about 8 left now not including ones i haven't uploaded that are finished. I do have a tricky one to make which should be interesting to see how it turns out lol

HE HE HE HA HA HA on some of what you said about rides you made and taking others for a good scare.
But I wish it would be a recovery kill like you said but if I go on an intence thrill ride like many of our parks have or in real life I'm affraid they will be taking me out in a body bag for real.

Oh no that's a shame, but i do know what you mean, as i get older i can't do it like i used to haha. I have to tell the little ones i cant jump from ride to ride anymore lol. Rides are pushing some amazing limits but i think it's always a good thing to know when to stop and know not to go past that limit of what you can manage. Especially some of these rides i've been making, some of them are really intense especially the Capriolo ride, as much as i love it it's very extreme and will kill me for a while after (i have to spend 30 minutes dying after lol). I'm hoping to take some of my friends to the Goose fair in october and scare them on it though hahaha lol ;D

Unfortunatly amusment parks and I no longer get-along so I go by pictures and what I see on T.V. now a days to get a sence of it all for my own parks in the game or by memory. And of course what I see you all build as well.

Yep i knwo what you mean. I been on something similar in Drayton Manor i think, bit like a themed water ride i think lol. We may still have some about but i'm not sure haha. I normally miss those and just go for the more thrilling rides

Well I'm glad I could give you a good explination of the ride for a proper decision.

But the lost river was like a water version of a Kats ride most of us make in our games to share. A lot of animatronics, different areas to go through and about the same speed as well. Only difference is each boat held about 10 people in it.

HAHAHAHA XD thats hilarious, i don't think id be too happy if i fell in either haha. I can't say i've ever done that before. At a park by me called Alton Towers they used to have a log flume with a tunnel with a loud duck quacking which made me jump but not fall out lol.

Yep it sounds very much like the super bob ride we have here. I dont go on those things because they're bit painful for my liking. I'll skip any musik express i think if theres one in London this winter wonderland lol

But the Music Express would send you sidways with so much force that if anyone was in the seat with you either you were crushing them or they were crushing you from the centrifical force of the ride as it was moving up and down the wooden floor in a high speed rotational spin.

Actually it is Six Flags New England now but was Riverside Park when I was a kid. It's in Agawam Massachusetts.

The lost river was a boat track ride but it was a river boat ridding an underwater track. This one part of the Ride you go into a very dark tunnel through swinging doors for the boat and all of a sudden you can hear loud screaming and out of no where a Giant Bat is lit up and comes flying towards the boat and it is almost double the size of the river boat we are all on. My Grandfather didn't see the bat flying at the boat till it was almost ontop of us so he recoiled backwards and ended up over the side of the boat and in the water. I don't remember who he swore at more me for making him go on the ride or the Bat that came out of no where at the boat. I am cracking up right now remembering it all.
