does this work with the latest version?
Smuffle  [author] Jul 10, 2021 @ 10:10am
@Nickimite Yes. There's a percentage-based likelihood.
Nickimite Jul 9, 2021 @ 11:19am
What organs are possible to be harvested? For example, with EPOE, can I get an armorskin gland removed if I'm lucky?
Wojtazonix Apr 21, 2021 @ 3:06am
When i freeze the body and do autopsy after hours limit will it works?
Smuffle  [author] Apr 28, 2020 @ 12:42am
@ihmisdildo Yes, you can find it by searching the rimworld workshop for Harvest Organs Post Mortem, or by clicking on the link for the A18, then the current version, or by going to my profile and see my workshop items.

Is there an mod like this for the current version of Rim?
Smuffle  [author] Feb 23, 2020 @ 5:15am
Well, I would suggest you follow the link in the description to the updated mod. This is regarding A17.

To answer your questions, 1: yes, it should be, but there may be bugs if the Race uses race-specific organs. If not, you may get human organs from butchering them. 2: I would not recommend adding this mid-save because it adds research and I don't know how that will work. I suggest saving beforehand if you want to test this.

Good luck with the Marine. Remember, Spartans never die, they're only MIA.

I'm using the Halo Mod that introduces all the Covenant Races, Well Most, and I was wondering if 1. It was safe to use. and 2. Can I add this Add-on midsave. A Marine of mine got his Kidney blown away after getting shot by a needler and needs a new one and was hoping to make use of the Unggoy that raid my Base

@Twilight Use the Mad Skills mod. Thid lets you configure skill decay or turn it off completely (which i do because it is stupid in a game with such a fast timescale)
Twilight Oct 3, 2018 @ 2:17am
Hi, i really like your mod. Only gripe i have with it nowadays is the glitterworld organ extraction, due to the new (way to OP) skill decay.. I have two excellent doctors, but even they would have to do autopsies 24/7 to maintain the needed 15 skuill points.

@Smuffle, I haven't researched it yet, as I just started the game (yes it is A17 version). That must be it - thanks for the help!
Smuffle  [author] Feb 4, 2018 @ 8:01am
@jadrianrickert First of all, are you using Alpha 17, and not Beta 18? Because this is the A17 version. If you are using A17, then no, it doesn't have to be immediatley after. Did you remember to research basic autopsy first? The bill doesn't appear on the butcher table if not.
jadrianrickert Feb 4, 2018 @ 7:44am
Does this mod have to be immediately after Hugslib? I started a new game and one raider was killed, but no option on Butcher Table to harvest organs. Any help?

@Dire Logic a link for B18 is at the top of the description.

B18 update?
Master Cat Nov 18, 2017 @ 9:42am
Ahaha! Great! Thank you!
Smuffle  [author] Nov 18, 2017 @ 9:11am
A18 version is now available! Link in description.
Kastor Nov 18, 2017 @ 9:10am
I was also wondering, are you going to update for alpha 18 beta, or are you waiting for the offical release?
EvilNecroid Nov 18, 2017 @ 6:15am
i need A18 versions im going mad without mods
Master Cat Nov 18, 2017 @ 4:25am
Great, waiting for 0.18!
Smuffle  [author] Oct 27, 2017 @ 6:59am
@Ente Thank you, appreciate it :)
Yorin Elanzaki Oct 27, 2017 @ 6:58am
hype to use this mod on 0.18 :steamhappy:
Smuffle  [author] Oct 22, 2017 @ 10:43am
Hmm, it’s an interesting idea, and I’ll think about it. But if I make it I’ll most likely make it as decoration only. Would be interesting to make the player become a raider faction.
In Vitriol Oct 22, 2017 @ 9:45am
So just got using your mod (great btw!) and i had an idea for an improvement/new mod. Im not crazy, but... wouldn't it be interesting if you could remove raiders heads and stick them on spikes? lol
Aside from decoration purposes, prehaps they could be used to scare off raiders or reduce raid frequency. The image just popped into my head.
Not crazy in the slightest. Swear!
Smuffle  [author] Oct 20, 2017 @ 12:43am
@Omega13 Yeah, I forgot about fixing the social part. I’ll fix it in the A18 update.
Omega13 Oct 19, 2017 @ 9:14pm
So it seems that when I research advanced autopsy, despite the description claiming that "people aren't disgusted by it," my other colonists still take a -10 Social hit toward the doctor doing the extraction, and still get the same "Harvested humanlike" debuff as they do with the regular autopsy. Everything else works fine.
Dna  [author] Oct 18, 2017 @ 10:31pm
@Omega13 Success is dependent on pawns MedicalSurgerySuccessChance and rooms SurgerySuccessChanceFactor. (100% * Pawn.MedicalSurgerySuccessChance * Room.SurgerySuccessChanceFactor(if there is a room, is between 60%-140% )). After that it is capped to max percentage for each type of autopsy. So mediocre doctor in a dirty shack won’t be able to recover much even using glitter world autopsy. And genius doctor in a pristine morgue also won’t get far using a butchers table.
Fruitn Oct 18, 2017 @ 12:47pm
Realistic Medical System maybe?
I'm also using the bone mod, but I have never extracted organs. Having a problem with sustaining a colony long enough to get the tech up.
Omega13 Oct 16, 2017 @ 11:37pm
Aha, thanks very much for the information!
Smuffle  [author] Oct 16, 2017 @ 11:21pm
@Omega13 Not success or failure per se, it's a requirement for advanced autopsy and higher. Advanced autopsy require a minimum skill level in medicine. Butchering for organs (the low level autopsy) does not require medicine, but uses the cooking skill.
Omega13 Oct 16, 2017 @ 8:39pm
Is the success or failure of harvesting dependent on skill? And if so, is it medical skill or cooking skill?
Smuffle  [author] Oct 15, 2017 @ 8:36am
@theddemon What other mods are you using?
Iron Lady Oct 15, 2017 @ 7:39am
Everytime I haverst the organs post mortem, even using the "presere organs with medicine" function, I only get flesh and their clothes. ı also tired sarting a new game, to see if there is a problem with already saved files, and it dindn't work there either. What should I do?
Smuffle  [author] Oct 10, 2017 @ 7:53am
Hehe, okay, as long as it works ;)
EvilNecroid Oct 10, 2017 @ 6:49am
ok i started a new game and for the 1st test i changed nothing with my mods to see if just a new game would fix it and it did :p
Smuffle  [author] Oct 10, 2017 @ 3:47am
It doesnt matter if its a new game or not. But I havent encountered the bug and I dont know what really causes it. What you can do is test with a new game (without the bones mod) to see if it works.
EvilNecroid Oct 10, 2017 @ 2:40am
or is it because i didnt start a new game?
EvilNecroid Oct 10, 2017 @ 2:38am
i got a steel autopsy table from some traders and i get the same results including bones.
does this mean i have to give up the bone mod?
Smuffle  [author] Oct 10, 2017 @ 2:36am
EPOE works. You should try to do it on the autopsy table. It may be that the bones mod is tampering with the butchers table
EvilNecroid Oct 9, 2017 @ 6:45pm
yeah i researched it and made sure it was the butcher for organs.
ill have to look through my mods to see if anything else might effect it.
EPOE works right?
Smuffle  [author] Oct 9, 2017 @ 4:45am
It may be, but have you researched autopsy and tried then butcher for organs on butcher table and autopsy table? It should work with most mods though.
EvilNecroid Oct 9, 2017 @ 3:22am
all i get is human meat and human leather plus some bones from the bone mod.
is there a mod conflict with the bone mod?
Krom Sep 30, 2017 @ 6:36pm
dang, welp, thanks for your help. i'm gonna keep looking around for a solution
Smuffle  [author] Sep 30, 2017 @ 5:40pm
That is not from this mod, and I have no clue of which unfortunatly.
Krom Sep 30, 2017 @ 5:29pm
to be specific, i transplanted a heart into one of my prisoners, then it gained a debuff called rejection(minor) which soon became rejection(managed), nothing has changed since then
