As this mod is no longer in development there will be no GS version. I will probably eventually get around to make this work with the base game again though.
WECE is the updated version of WE (for MOAR), so it is no longer supported.
WECE includes all the global units from S&T:UE already so there's nothing to be compatible with and shouldn't be subscribed to concurrently. Now S&T:UU, the one with all the UUs, is compatible with WECE and can be run together.
You mean that this one is allready compatible with Steel and Thunder, or it's not and won't be updated ?
Do you plan to work with them to make it bigger and better with Gathering Storms ?
The next version will be WECE for GS.

Hanlon after I release this my plan is to try and fix up some cultural variation and hopefully make it more accurate. The problem is Firaxis have given us a half arsed attempt at cultural diversity and the code for it is really messy to work with. As far as they are concerned all of Asia in one cultural group and the USA, Russia and Europe are one culrural group, so we don't have much to work with.

End game everyone has the exact same units/skins too and this makes the game a bit of a bore as well.
I suppose they will never get around to it and complete it for civ 6.
Please stop asking for S&T compatability. S&T' changes unit lines in a way that make it incompatible with WE. If anything I will be releasing a standalone version but not for a while yet. I am not spending as much time modding these days and Civ 6 modding is a very slow process.
More over, is there any mod that does NOT add new unit, but change unit graphic more 'Civ5 R.E.D-ish'? In other term, ethic? I can't find any ethnic unit mod of Civ6. So sad.. :(
