@Aequinox: I guess the only option at this point is to choose an image that suits your monitor resolution or at least aspect ratio.

Hey, I'm a bit late to the party it seems. I try to figure out how I adjust the background image scaling factor. Background images with uncommon ratios look weird because they scale weird.

I like it but I have issues with it most times. Slelecting different weather scenarios doesn't take effect until a restart of the app or my PC. Also, changing the volume makes the frame rate drop to very low numbers.

I made the foreground images customizable aswell.
Hope to be able to address the reloading bug soon, that happens when you set or change properties.

It works really well but for some reason the raindrops are a weird black and gold metalic color.

The local image browser is nice, but it still has the raindrops reflect the stock image. Maybe should be an import for BG and FG?

I am finished with the 2 new options => Image Browser, Image scaling factor
Remember to manually reload the wallpaper after setting options. Still working on that.

I´d love to see the option for local files ;) ... could you please explain, why custom images are not shown in their original resolution? i´d like to have at least 1920x1200px...

It is strongly recommended to reload by switching to another wallpaper and back after setting options, because the script is not perfectly optimised yet. Otherwise you may experience lag/stuttering when setting too many options after another.

Today I took the time and did it. You can now specify URL Images (Foreground and Background for the rain effect).
