@outcast what i do is just use something like surface roads and make a driveway with that. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2175361167
but i agree, i wish that driveways connected to the roads more seamlessly from buildings, especially residential. cars shouldnt have to jump the curb to get home.

rofl naww. I know there isn't. I'm just after a decal or prop like one I linked that at least gives the idea of one. Something that can be blended with the street and sidewalk, maybe a texture that makes it look like its dipping in the middle? Or just be like those that its a ramp that uses the street and sidewalk texture... or something thats longer that can be tweaked with moveit. Just some ideas and wishful thinking.

@insanitycheck misread your comment, i thought you were asking was there anything that could cut into the curb to create a driveway

Found what I was looking for. So yes, it can be done! Just wish for ones that arn't just for like industrial areas.

@insanitycheck nah, no way to be done

Is there any way to make a prop that gives the feel of a curb cut? Something so a driveway appears flush with the street? A lot of buildings come with pre built parking spaces and it always feel so weird that they have to jump a high curb just to mark in such spots.

I like using parking lot roads, but sadly there's no way to hide or disable the lots in these building assets with out also disabling the 'parking spot' items the lot roads and such use as they well... use the same concept.

just be nice if there was something to even give the illusion of a proper driveway or cut in the curb from street to building.

makes sense, thanks for replying

@apollondriver aha no. there are maybe 5-6 pieces, each file containers thumbnails, preview image etc. stuff like that takes space. but all of them use the same texture maps anyway, which the game treats one file, so it's really less
ApollonDriver Nov 30, 2020 @ 1:47am
ahahaha lol no, I mean isn't 6 MBs a bit high for just some curb props?
KingLeno  [author] Nov 29, 2020 @ 2:51pm
@apollondriver why does anything have a file size
ApollonDriver Nov 28, 2020 @ 2:19pm
why is it 6 MBs?
KingLeno  [author] Feb 1, 2019 @ 12:49pm
@sonnyblack2301 i think its cedar valley pavement texture. Might even be an altered vanilla texture. an LUT and relight mod helps bring out the texture more.

Is there a theme with this texture for the pavement? All other realistic ones I found are grey.

Could still make the short ramps at least...they'd stick out into the street a bit but better than just a steep curb... Also, is there a way to fix the texturemapping on the street curb side? It's smeared now and looks bad.
KingLeno  [author] Nov 10, 2017 @ 5:19am
@eep nope, won't work. there's no way to do that

Any chance for a sidewalk driveway ramp? Like 8m long by 1m (and maybe a 2m) wide? Need a way to "cut" into an existing sidewalk and make it a driveway ramp.
