This is sort of a bug that I'm pretty sure others have encountered sometimes the music just doesn't play mainly the combat tracks I believe the reason why is because certain tracks are missing and you haven't ported all the tracks over it is very strange I don't have any other music mods on whenever I have this glitch happen just felt like pointing that out but I like it nonetheless
man Aug 11, 2021 @ 9:34pm
For some reason there's a silent track in this mod during combat. Other soundtrack mods don't have this problem. Is there a way to fix this?

@TripleExit
Can confirm. This Music Pack works well in Legacy
Exodus Dec 13, 2017 @ 4:28pm
Ok, I was just asking because the mod that this music mod requires became the WoTC version at some point, so they went back and made a legacy version, thus effectively making this mod "only" for WoTC I think? Can someone confirm it works on legacy XCOM 2?
suicune_dude  [author] Dec 13, 2017 @ 3:42pm
I made it FOR legacy, actually. There's nothing to really update for WotC for music definitions as far as I can tell. It's whether or not the modding system accomodates. All this does is package music and define where to use it.
Exodus Dec 13, 2017 @ 3:17pm
Yeah, looks like this is all for WoTC, however, if I wanted to play with LW2, I would have to play standard XCOM 2 since LW2 won't be updated for WoTC, this is the music menu mod for the base game: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1122831824 by chance would this mod you made work with the legacy version? Or does it have to be an entirely seperate workshop item?
suicune_dude  [author] Dec 13, 2017 @ 12:49am
It depends on whether or not MMM is updated, this is just some data it uses.
Exodus Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:33pm
Oh, and this all still works with WoTC right? I have a lot of legacy mods, so I know a lot of older stuff seems to work still.
suicune_dude  [author] Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:31pm
It is listed as a dependency for the Music Modding System (Even though I do know it's more of a light dependency, really) http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=667104300
Exodus Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:23pm
Oh, do you have a link to the mod config menu mod? I don't think I have that, and already have mods that work with it.
suicune_dude  [author] Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:16pm
There is an option if you have the mod config menu (Which I think is a requirement for the modding system anyway) for mixing in the original music. I don't remember what it was called exactly.
Exodus Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:08pm
So does this replace tracks, add tracks, or add tracks but give them high priority? Because I still want to hear all of the original music just as much.
Rain-D Sep 1, 2017 @ 2:01am
Sweet, many thanks!
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 31, 2017 @ 4:12pm
@Bukan_Randy Thanks! I went and fixed it real quick!
Rain-D Aug 31, 2017 @ 3:36pm
I love this mod so much, but it seems that the Red Sun vocal version doesn't loop properly and just went silent after the first loop.
MeNDoX Aug 30, 2017 @ 7:14pm
Ok, thanks!
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 30, 2017 @ 3:39pm
@MeNDoX If you're playing with War of the Chosen, that's probably why. Music Modding System needs to update. Not much I can do.

If you're not using WotC, I have no idea. It worked in all my testing. If you can provide more info I might be able to figure it out.
MeNDoX Aug 30, 2017 @ 3:04pm
Thanks for this mod! I think this soundtrack should be in all the videogames! But I'm having an issue. At the beggnining of my game the mod was working perfect, but as I advance the story, the mod seems to stop working. Is there a way to work around this?
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 28, 2017 @ 6:18am
@Samio I'm no audio engineer, but I tried my best to get things to work properly. Far from perfect, though. Glad you enjoy! Hopefully you can continue to enjoy with WotC if it doesn't break the music mods.
Samio Aug 26, 2017 @ 2:12pm
Thank you very much for the update; I now can actually hear it without my eardrums falling off and oh my god you did a fantastic job. I hope to see more from you in the future!
Zeta_Enigma Aug 21, 2017 @ 6:13pm
thank you very much for this <3 Breaking concealment is now wayyy more badass
Samio Aug 17, 2017 @ 9:55am
Sounds great!
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 17, 2017 @ 9:36am
@Samio I did have them assigned to music. Then again, I could never really tell when changes took in the editor. I'm doing all of the lead-in edits right now, so, fixes will be coming
Samio Aug 17, 2017 @ 8:55am
According to Robojumper himself:
"...For the volume slider to take effect, you need to select the SoundCues in the editor and assign them to the "Music" SoundClass. The slider will then affect these cues."
Seems like an easy fix, but one that only the creator can do. Hope you fix it soon!
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 16, 2017 @ 9:50am
@[COE] LinkedGlint I'll look into it. I'm going to be redoing the combat tracks with intro lead-ins soon anyway, so all the tracks are going to be edited fresh
LinkedGlint Aug 16, 2017 @ 12:11am
Seems like some of the song are too loud. They also can not be turned down with the music slider. The song in the main menu is a example of one of them being too loud.
grey Aug 15, 2017 @ 5:21pm
sorry xenos scum, but IT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!!
MassacreHarp Aug 14, 2017 @ 6:38am
@Can Sui destroy the sun? I actually briefly considered making this myself, but got scared by the complexity of it. Glad you're a braver man than I!
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 13, 2017 @ 11:12pm
@Fwafwf Yeah. Mostly deciding on which tracks to use. Putting EVERYTHING in would just be obscenely large.
bruce Aug 13, 2017 @ 10:33pm
As in a Payday music mod?
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 12, 2017 @ 3:08pm
@Zero @The Red Comet
I ended up doing it for pretty much the same reasons, so, glad to help :D

I've been putting stuff together for a Payday 2 set recently as well
MassacreHarp Aug 12, 2017 @ 12:26pm
YES! FINALLY! I've always wanted a mod like this! Thank you so much!
The Bismarck Aug 12, 2017 @ 9:49am
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tunnel Dog Aug 11, 2017 @ 10:32pm
ITS TIME FOR JACK TO LET ER RIP
orhida Aug 11, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Oh, gotcha.
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 11, 2017 @ 3:07pm
@乇句廿丹尺口 Instrumental and vocals are both in. If there were funcitonality in the music modding system to differentiate songs by enemies I would have saved the vocal versions for more extreme fights, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be in the mod.
orhida Aug 11, 2017 @ 2:59pm
I think Instrumental versions would feel better.
Kravis Aug 11, 2017 @ 11:08am
STANDING HERE
suicune_dude  [author] Aug 11, 2017 @ 3:26am
I didn't put one in yet. I understand feeling that way completely. I'll try and get a recording together sometime today.
