Can you add a Russian localization to this version of the mod? It's just that there is a skin mod for him, which does not work for the updated version of the mod. (Можите добавить русскую локализацию для данного варианта мода? Для него есть скин который ломается на другом варианте модификации.)

I dont like your character, he relies on stuns, while he doesnt have his own, he can succesfully use his "Attack the mark" skill from position 1, which is a big no-no, his inspiring command is a joke, butcher inspiring his team? He is not a knight why would he? The feeling that something is off never left me while ive used him, he felt awkward in some situations. Also his mark is not 100%, which is awful, And AOE? why>? You only wanna mark Big guys anyway, why have it be AoE? Playable, but not inspiring, 5\10

My suggestion is to replace the stun buffs with bleed buffs, making him incredibly viable with the likes of Houndmaster, Jester, and Hellion. Or combine 'In My Sights' and 'Regroup' in some way, making it so that IMS pushes Butcher back allowing you to then immediately attack. I'd also up the mark chance of IMS.

Other than that he really doesn't have any other synergy with the other classes. The only somewhat viable option I came across, was using the Wraith class mod as he has many different stunning abilities. However again, this comes at a cost of having to dedicate the Wraith solely to stunning, not to mention that I had to put speed reducing trinkets on the Butcher in order for it to even be functional. Now perhaps I'm missing some strategy somewhere, or I'm just plain playing the character wrong, but as I see it there isn't an incentive for me to bring him to any dungeon.

3 turns to get any sort of damage. Not to mention he has no stun ability so you are forced to use a different character to stun the enemy, and if the round is played correctly and they still happened to be stunned when the butcher gets his turn. Using another character to mark, while is a better option, runs into a similar problem, seeing as using an occultist or bounty hunter to mark and then having butcher attack is much less effective than doing the same but with an arbalest.

Downloaded and played the mod, I really like the idea and design, however I'm having a difficult time finding synergy with this class. As it is now, his main strength is against stunned/marked targets, however his moves are set in such a way that it makes it incredibly inefficient for doing damage. For example, I would want to have him in the front most position, then I would use 'In My Sights' to , hopefully, mark the two front most enemies. IF they get marked, in order to get to a position where I can capitalize on the marks is by using 'Regroup' to go back one. Finally, I can then use Impaling Strike on ONE enemy before needing to do it all over again.

@PinkKillah They will be mutually exclusive, but you will be able to play different Butchers on different estates if you like.

@all Hey, guys, if anyone is still here, there will be a big rework of Butcher's sprites and skills i wanted to make long time ago. It will come as fully seperate mod, so you decide whether to use the new or the old one. Not saying i'm really back into DD modding, but i'm glad i almost finished this one. So, who knows, maybe i'll think of some other reworks or even classes, but i can't really promise you that. I will post a rework within a week, hope you guys will like it.

When i hover over the butcher selected items, or his abbilitys, there is some code writing in really bright blue, that kinda burns my eyes ^^ not that much i can´t play the game, like ur mod, just wanted u to know ^^

@Tracido I can confirm the capitalization error is still present in the buffs file, affecting the Impaling Strike skill.
The fix is:
Go to the buffs folder located in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1100230439\shared\buffs
Open butcher.buffs.json
Find "iMPALING_STRIKE_BUFF_h" and change it to "IMPALING_STRIKE_BUFF_h"

The effects file appears to be fine, as you noted.

go into your mod folder and find the /effects folder, open it and find the file 'butcher.effects.darkest'

Check this line at the bottom

effect: .name "Butcher Impaling Strike Buff" .target "performer" .duration 2 .chance 100% .buff_ids IMPALING_STRIKE_BUFF_l IMPALING_STRIKE_BUFF_h .on_hit true .on_miss true .apply_once true

Looks like this was fixed already.. As the issue should have been in effects..

His Impaling Strike buff is bugged, as the "I" isn't capitalized. Easy fix, but for people who don't know it basically cuts out one significant portion of his skillset.

@橘叔 you find him weak? for me he is one of my best hero's
impaling strike, criple, slice them open and regroup are the best options for a build, specially if you have his trincket set
i would also suggest to have as permanent quirks: luminous, corvid's eye , and the prismatic quirk that allows you to ignore stealth, and he is one hell of a deadly force
but if you aren't that lucky with the last one, slugger, hard skinned, tough, quick reflexes, precise striker and irrepesible are also good choices

I think he's too weak,his marks Damage is not significanrtly in creased.
and he has no armor piercing ability.So when he met >15HP or armor enemy.

by the way i have 3 ideas for a CoM trincket: see if you like any of them:
dimentional cleaver:
+15% HP, +10 dodge, +3 speed, +5% CRIT
+25% armor piercing
on attack: bleed (2 points for 3 turns)
"there is nothing i can't cut"
-
spectral blades:
+8 ACC, +15% ATK, +10 dodge
ignores: stealth
on attack hit: +3% CRIT chance (1 battle)
"you can't escape the edge of my blades"
-
bloody crystal knifes:
+5% crit, +10 dodge, +3 speed, +10% ATK
on attack hit: bleed (2 points/ 3 turns)
on attack: +35% chance of don't loosing your turn (that means you can attack again)
"the color of this blood invigorates me"

at least those are the type of trincket i imagine for the butcher xD
if you like them choose one of the few, or combine them into one strong trincket

The 5th level regroup is straight up just a downgrade, I'm not sure that what you intended to happen there, but it didnt.

Amazing hero mod! His marking skill is a bit broken though, only marking the rank one enemy, not both. Perhaps you can fix it? Other than that, it's a great mod.

I am sorry for saying that but I can't find any sense in this class mod
- there is not a big change in the model... it's like a Brigand and not like a Butcher :( ...ok, I red, he is an ex brigand but... I expected a change of looking
- the class mod is bugged
- and the name of the abilities doesn't match a bit in the style of the class... Why is he a damn tactician and not a Butcher??? (Inspiring Command? Regroup?)
- Why the camping skill produces random supplies or loot? He is a butcher? It should produce food! :/

Also "Regroup" has dodge +15 and speed +6 at rank 4, but it shows that if I level it up to 5 it will have dodge +10 and speed +5 so I won't even level the skill to 5.

Good mod, I like the class alot :) There is one thing that isn't working for me tho, the "In My Sights" skill doesn't mark the enemy in row 2
