These weapon last an absurd ammount of time. I have over 5000 kills with the same metal bar is ridiculous, is there a way to tweak it?

what use does this mod even have apart from like 16x dawg 4000 hits with a wrench you can find multiple of easily

mod doesnt work, weapons still break after ''vanilla'' number of hits. The spear with spoon broke after a dozen hits :/ I was counting on the number of hits from the picture... :(

Just vanilla. If you use another weapon mod, this one will overwrite vanilla item entries.

It's not guaranteed to go down, so, could just be one lucky axe. Could also be a mod that alters durability mechanics, though.

Unfortunately, no, it merely overwrites the vanilla weapons and tools. It won't affect anything added by mods.

Yeah, it's a neat solution and I've tried that before, but it would stop working randomly and I could't find out why, so I had to roll back to overwriting.

Wouldn't it be possible to just edit the vanilla weapons stats rather then adding in replicas with higher durability as replacement weapons for the vailla ones? Wouldn't that make it easier to add to existing saves, if at all possible?

No, but with a caveat: newly spawned weapons (ones you craft, for example) will be modded.

Hi author, I enjoy this mod very much, I only wish that it didn't effect ammunition. As others have said, this mod seems to not play well with Brita's and Arsenal26, no matter how they're loaded. To be specific, it changes the icons for a lot of the ammo from the nice Arsenal ones back to the vanilla ones.

Best durability mod! Thank you! I just got the game and found it absolutely ridiculous that weapons break constantly. I understand the game wants to give you a challenge and pressures you to loot more, but there are other ways of accomplishing that. Huge thumbs up!

That's odd. There's no shotgun box in this mod.

Shotgun box bug, put the bullets in the box, get out of the box, as you repeat the actions, the bullets increase, there are unlimited cartridge bullets, +5 bullets come when I open and fill each box

I don't know why vanilla weapons break so quickly (especially vanilla guns). This mod is a must, especially on 16.0 (4.0 base + 4.0 max) population multiplier (I repaired a Spiked Baseball Bat around 30-40 times with the Maintenance mod and two such Bats allowed me to kill nearly 10,000 fragile zombies and I was able to reach max level in Long Blunt with bonuses to that skill; using both mods might feel like an overkill but I like playing with both mods on). Very solid mod.

Depends on what do you mean by break. Realistic Durabilities won't affect new items from Brita's, and will conflict with existing items if Brita's mod affects them. As a result, some items won't work right, some will not work at all, and some will be okay. It should not result in save corruption or crashes if that was what you meant.
