Yeah I kept trying to balance the difficulty with minor changes but eventually moved on. Anyone is free to open it up in world builder and tweak it to their own liking

One more thing you will need to add a line to one of the map files to make it visible in the map selection menu

Go to you DOW3 document mod source folder

C:\Users\Josh\Documents\my games\Dawn of War III\modssource\scenarios

Go there and open up the option file to the map.
Not the -
*map_name.option BAK* file.
Open the -
*map_name OPTION* file with notepad. It will have this wriiten in it:

minimap_size =
{
768,
729,
}
uses_ice = false
visible_in_lobby = true
scenario_type = 1

add this line to the bottom.

win_conditions = {"PowerCore","annihilation","annihilation_with_turrets"}

It should look like this:

Then save

Aight. Just wondering. But I wanna thank yah a lot. For teaching a bit/a lot about modding maps. Also I gave your map a chance in power core and it was a bit hard but fun and amazing. But I wanna wish you luck on your maps and can't wait too see them.

I don't understand how to use the region settings and preview the sounds. But weather covers the whole thing. If you pick windy wet over cast weather the spots of sun it will include the sounds.

They are, but a bt confusing sometimes. But is the Weather thing like an overall layout or is it a section places. Also I played some modded maps and sometimes there is missing audio and it's kind of weird playing the map without sounds. So I was wondering is their like a sound option as well.

Once you are fully happy with the design of your land the last things to do is play around with the atmosphere and terrain settings. This is where you bring the map to life. Day, night, Sunny, Cloudy, Windy, Snowy, lightning and rain. Fun to play with.

Yeah don't get me wrong the videos were very helpful. A tip when making grass not all grass types make grass it usually takes a combination of 2-3 but don't get carried away and pick all of them because if you already laid some adding to the combination can change colors and shape of previous and even make other not work destroying any previously laid. It will take a bit of time to discover all the combinations and which ones you prefer.

I played that map. Very interesting and not alot of room to build which makes it a very good map to force people to make infantry or vechiles since you don't have alot of room. It's a very good map. But I am kind of understanding. Maybe the video I saw was something old with the Wk/Walk. But I am kind of understanding what you are talking about. Like the object can be solid if you have a lot of terrain around the object making it impossible to move on and the objects can be walked on if connected to each or to a supesfect terrain. Like stairs going up to a flat terrian or stair going up to a platform like your deep space 49. Than you got objects that are there for looks which can not be passable or to get on to.

The object WK/walk Thing doesn't exist spent ages looking for it. It's all based on the To Entity/ To Visual button and the general pass ability if the surrounding terrain. Once you understand it you can make entire map from objects alone like my 2v2 map Deep Space 49

Oooh. Ok. I thought I was doing something wrong. Mmm'ok. I'll try the map again later. Also I was listening to something of that. they can walk through stairs and stuff, but some objects can not be walk through? Something like. Something to do with the object walk/WK I think. But kind of skipped that part a little on how to fix it. I think you refresh it or delete it and re-add or something like that. Can't remember but I did save the video for later purpose.

+Visuals -- when you're ready to start Making you maps lots little details this is where you will be. Note that visual object units will walk through like it's not there but if you hit to entity it will become a physical map obstruction.

Also not that not every object in sbps and Visuals work properly causing the game to crash after it finishes load up match.

Nope I reduced the amount of free Heroes to start with abd hit the swap or to visual button by accident changing his state. You got 2 places to select units from in object you choose from the second group if you want to be able to use them.

Ok, I kind of skipped the description (Kicking the dirt) But the reason I did so is because the map looked awesome.Yah than the annihiliation one doesn't work and what facition am I supposed to using in the power core mode. Cause I try'd all 3 of them and I get the ork elite unit plus an extra one, but I can not selected it. I mean I can but I can not select all and when I click on that unit it can not attack but it can move. I wanna say I am doing something wrong. But I read the description this time and I did everything it said too.

That's about how much I put in each day. Just start with the height map editor and the texture tile painting editor and create a rough map design. You can ever use one of your favs from previous games or be original. Just use set height value of level 2 or type 25 for in Inbetween (don't go to high but for fun just have a look at the difference.
Note: You can freely move and rotate the camera the same way you did in DOW /DOW2
(try not to worry about using multiple levels on your first map and just go with a small 1v1 to keep it simple)

Once all that is done switch to the tiles and textures and select your layers an paint the land just like Microsoft paint.

Oh and choose auto generated player starting position this wilk show you the 3 basic objects required to add a team and required to save your map. At this point if you export it you will be able to play on it. It just be a little dull.

Wow. So you find this video on youtube or something else and it's that easy? I might give it a try. See how well I can do modding a map of my own. If I can atleast make one, I'll be the happiest gamer and you said it takes an hour to make a map or that's how much time you put into it a map per day?

It's not that hard. I had never used it before. Always looked way to complicated. But I decided to give it a go and seeing what all options do. Yeah I watched about 10 mins of the tutorials just skipping to the part I didn't understand. Now I can easily make a standard MP map a day if I wanted to but I'm not that keen.
So I usually work on About one per for an hour at night while watching something or just have it always open on the second monitor and add something every now anf then.

The world builder would inspire people to try making their own work but to some like myself, I would have to look at videos on how to do it. But once I do that, I would be making a lot of maps. (Coughs) 2. But a smaller version wouldn't be that bad and I image so. Depending on how much work and how much details you put in the map and the um...land scaping and all of that. I would image it too be very exetremely hard.

I'm hoping that by letting others be able to view and edit it themselves it will inspire them to try maing similar works. It uses every single option for customisation the currently available world builder lets you do. So it's a good tool for learnig world builder.

yeah i recently made a change ro try and increase the challlenge and now I have to go through the whole map and find that one thing thats causing it. It's to late for me now but will inform you once its ready. Don't know abourt the six didgits thing though. doesn't say that when mine crashes but I have made the map editable for everyone else now. You should be able to find in your subscriptions folders and open it in world builder.

For some reason the mod misses up my game. I get a pop up saying Dawn Of War 3 07/8/2017 CL 6 digit numbers has stop working. But the map looks amazing. If can try to get the exactly numbers that show up incase it's the mod that's missing up or if it's the game.

Yeah I only noticed this because of another map I made. I will fix this as soon as possible. I am also currently working on a way to giving AI control of vehicles/skimmers and walkers only. I also want to test if move blockers can be player specific cause that would let me initiate full AI control.

Yeah if I let them move then you won't get past the 1st area. But I will try and find a way around this. Remember its just a heavily tweaked powercore mode.

was nice fun but :2 warp spiders with their mines when enemy armies just staying in 1 place are op.Boss was dissapointment because he was just staying there and i blow him up with spiders no chalange:(

I had originall intended for this map to have a bridge crossing the canyon in town where Gorkanaut and Morkanaut are defending the sky dock. Then you would accend a skyplatform that arrives at a docking bay where one of the huge ships would be docked. And there you would have to battle Solaria and the Greater Demon.

Not on this map you verse them. But you can place at your command the entire hero line up the Greater Demon Campaign Boss and all the games units if you want.

The structure to the bottom right of that pick coming out of the cliff is the bridge of one.

If you visit my map Starport Canal you will see a a screen of the smallest imperial ship
