Sorry I've stopped work on these mods but you should be able to find videos of final fantasy 10 music on youtube fairly easily.
This uses the standard battle and the seymore battle.
From what I can tell, Skyrim only plays battle music if the player is hit, or if several opponents are actively chasing you.
God mode might be screwing this up because you aren't threatened by the enemies.
You can test this theory by unsubscribing to the mod, then run your test. I'd expect the default music to either not play, or get stuck playing.
If this is a vanilla Skyrim behavior, there might be a mod to fix it.
If this turns out to be a problem with this mod, please let me know.
Thanks.
It should only affect the battle music.
If the Zelda mod has battle music, the mod lowest on the list will be used.
Only combat music is affected.
As for compatibility, I cannot say without testing the mod you have. Sorry.
Sounds cool, but I have no idea how to build that.
There is something in Skyrim that makes the music not play unless the enemy is threatening you in some way.
Often that means you have to actually get hit once before the music starts.
Or if the enemy is just really weak, the music never starts.
I haven't found a way to override this behavior yet.
This mod is actually really simple (take a look in tes5edit), it just replaces the audio files for the battle music. It doesn't change any code or add scripts that could produce bugs.
I did once have another mod that broke all combat music. I think it was that all gems have map markers mod.
Well, I fought a dragon and there was absolutely no music, so I think there's something wrong there :/
Keep up the good work! :)
A non-replacer I think they're called.
Thanks!
You want one that adds to the existing Skyrim music?
Or are you hoping to mix with another mod. Because I am not sure that is possible. If it is, I don't know how to.
Battle and Boss (where did my video go? lol)
This mod that I have in progress might be what your looking for.

It will probably only play the mod closest to the end of you list.
It uses the main, boss and Seymor themes.
If you want more variaty, I am working on a new music replacing mod.
I am still working on it, but you can give it a try if you like.

So I don't see anything missing that would cause the tracks to not play.
I do know that on my Thief character that gets a lot of 1 hit kill backstabs, the battle music tends to not play. It also doesn't play if the enemy is too weak to be a threat.
Dragon music doesn't seem to play unless the dragon is actively targeting me. If it is killing people around me but ignoring me, then the music doesn't start.
Do you know if any other music replacers have the same problem? If you know of one that works better, I can check it out and duplicate the modifications.
I am not sure why that happens. I am looking into it.

your talking from YouTube?
if you your fine with that quality level, just give me YouTube links, I can get the songs.
Can you provide the music files?
I will check on that.
You should get the boss battle songs for Dragons.
