Sorry I've stopped work on these mods but you should be able to find videos of final fantasy 10 music on youtube fairly easily.
This uses the standard battle and the seymore battle.
From what I can tell, Skyrim only plays battle music if the player is hit, or if several opponents are actively chasing you.
God mode might be screwing this up because you aren't threatened by the enemies.
You can test this theory by unsubscribing to the mod, then run your test. I'd expect the default music to either not play, or get stuck playing.
If this is a vanilla Skyrim behavior, there might be a mod to fix it.
If this turns out to be a problem with this mod, please let me know.

It should only affect the battle music.
If the Zelda mod has battle music, the mod lowest on the list will be used.
Only combat music is affected.
As for compatibility, I cannot say without testing the mod you have. Sorry.
