Version 0.8.31 "EMERGENCY UPDATE for 1.7 compatibility"

- 1.7 compatibility (duh).

House Bratheon - Tyrell - Lannister - Stannis:
- New focus: Invite House Tyrell.
= If Renly crowns himself King, he can now invite the Tyrells to his faction. Faction is created when the declaration happens.
= For the Tyrells, this works the exact same way as when the Lannisters invite them, with the exception that they switch to Democratic.
= Lannister focus to invite the Tyrells now has reduced time (still slower that Renly's focus).
= Stannis can now do his 'Kill Renly' focus without controlling any Stormland cores (Davos does smuggle Melisandre after all). Focus takes 140 days. I was also planning on an event that warns the Stormlands of this but then the update struck.
= If Renly is killed, the Tyrells will get the option to switch sides to the Lannisters.

Other:
- House Lannister's Focus tree has been flipped horizontally to make room for industrial revamp. This is arguably the oldest focus tree in the mod and badly needs one.
- Updated party popularity across all countries.
- Ulthos is now non-aligned. Ulthos also uses the vanilla Australia tag. This is important information given... you will see.
- Removed some useless code from country files, ensuring that the mod now loads 0.000000000000001 % faster.

Hotfix to fix Tyrell engagement crash

Opdatering: 31. maj 2019 kl. 7:04

Version 0.8.3 "Good as Gold"

New mechanic for the Free Cities of Essos: Hire the Golden Company.
- You can spend PP to hire 10 Elite INF, 4 Elite CAV and (if you have the relevant tech) 2 Elite Heavy ARM Divisions + General Harry Strickland to fight for you for 6 months.
- While contract is in place, you will suffer a penalty to Consumer Goods and Political Power.
- Only one country can hire the GC at a time. (you will be notified in Decision)
- Cooldown between contracts is 1 year.

Stannis Baratheon:
- New focus: Hire the Golden Company.
= By doing said focus, Stannis can also hire the Golden Company. Old rules still apply.

New Rulesets:
- DISABLE PLANE TECHS.
= You can now disable all Planes-related research for immersion. Countries that already have planes researched can still build them. Transport planes can still be built. (baby steps)
- Added ruleset icons from vanilla.
- Disabled ALL naval research for the Others. This should also help the AI focus better.
- Removed all non-GOT countries from the ruleset.
- House Greyjoy: New ruleset to Guarantee Theon becoming the ruler.

House Lannister:
- Changed the Lannister-Tyrell Royal Engagement to an event (which House Tyrell could refuse). There was simply too much stuff in that focus and spreading it out made things much smoother.
= Added a pact of non-aggression as part of the royal engagement. (more on that next week)

Other:
- Removed Vanilla Greyjoy general. Added Ralf Kenning + portrait as General.
- Event to crown Ned Stark as King in the North, if he was saved and the Stark Regency Council is in power.
- Added names to some Stormlands focuses that were missing them.
- Small flavor to Karstark division namelist.

And more...

Version 0.8.21 "Content Unleashed!"

This time, it's mostly a quality of life update that serves to ease access to some pretty important events. Events such as:

The Red Wedding:
- If House Stark accepts the wedding, they will get a mission timer that counts down the days to the wedding. I also increased the time it takes for the wedding to take place from 30 days to 45 days.
- The code for the wedding has also been slightly altered. You can now use the 45 days until the wedding to try and finish your 'Befriend Walder Frey' focus.
- Bonus event, signaling the start of the wedding.

Keep in mind, these changes only affect House Stark. House Tully works the same as before.

Hornwood compromise:
- Previously, this focus was called 'Cede Hornwood to the Boltons'. Now, you have two options of dealing with the issue (hence the name change). Cede the land as before OR offer Hornwood as a puppet state to House Bolton.
-If negotiations break down, the 'Puppet Boltons' focus will now unlock for you. You offered them a peaceful solution and they rejected after all.

Warden of the North:
- This is a pretty major event for House Lannister, however, it was locked behind a lot of focuses and this resulted in it rarely being used. Not anymore!
- Event is now part of the 'North Remembers' event for House Lannister. Once you get that event, you can choose between receiving your 2 year debuff or assign a new Warden of the North. You can choose between the same 4 candidates.
- Event description for these events has been updated to add more flavor.

Bugfixes:
- Fixed a Crownlands focus that required 2 mutually exclusive focuses.
- Fixed several holes 1 pixel map errors.
- Fixed a leftover code that caused the Lannisters to destroy their faction and start a separate faction with the Tyrells. Now it should properly just add them to the faction.

And more...

Version 0.8.2 'Wine and Dine with Kings and Queens'

A most unfortunate name for one particular King, but today's update is all about the rulers of Westeros (and beyond). More error dogs have been chased away and also:

Map:
- The Mander river in the Reach has been greatly expanded.
- More urban terrain to some Reach cities.
- Ice river (Beyond the wall) added.

Now, onto the Kings and Queens:

The One True King Stannis Baratheon:
- Can now gain War Support by stating his claim to the realm. This causes PP but all others will learn of his claim. Decision unlocks after relevant focus.

Queen Margaery of House Tyrell:
- If Joffrey is successfully poisoned at the Purple Wedding and Tommen is placed on the Iron Throne, the Crownlands will have 1 year to do something about it, otherwise they will become a Tyrell puppet. Also added a helpful tooltip to the 'Poison Joffrey' decision.
- Major database changes for House Tyrell - They will now start the game as Non-Alligned, still under Mace Tyrell. Loras Tyrell is the new Democratic leader.

The Night King:
- The Others now have two, mutually exclusive focuses in the buildup to attacking the Wildlings. You can either cross the Ice River and securing an extra state; or gain a 20% Attack and Defense bonus against the Wildlings for 1 year. 'Attack Wildlings' focus time has been reduced in half.
- Others also have a Focus to raise 10 more legions from the Ice River shore. Only requirement is that they control the state.
- White walkers now have a 100% bonus to their mobilization speed, under the Origins tab.
- Disabled all trading laws (aside from No Exports) for the Others.

The Mad Queen Daenerys Targaryen:
- Now has an alternative focus for dealing with Astapor (mutually exclusive). Instead of just going to war, she can try negotiating some extra land. She can either buy a stretch of land that will connect her to the Yunkai border (gains CC penalty/Astapor gets bonus CC); or trade in one of her dragons for much more land, including Port Yhos. Of course, there is always the option of going to war anyway, especially if the leaders of Astapor don't want to deal with the 'Westerosi bitch'. But will dealing with them be worth it? Is it worth sacrificing Drogon to the Astapori Zoo? A dragon is no slave...

That is not all. The ever escalating National Focus arms race between the Starks and the Lannisters also continues:

House Stark focuses:
- Like the Sunset sea focuses last week, now they can also focus on the Narrow Sea. They can increase their Special Forces cap or get a construction bonus for their Convoys.
House Lannister focuses:
- The Lannisters rule with fear and they now have a focus which gives them +20% stability during wars.

And, of course, more...

Version 0.8.1 'North by Northwest'

It's time for the first update to version 0.8 and it's a pretty major one:

Bugfixes:
- A bunch of map errors fixed.
- Renly Baratheon now cannot declare for a House while already in a faction.
- House Tully cannot ask to be in a faction with House Stark if they are already in a faction.
- If Yohn Royce is thrown down the Moon Door, Littlefinger's focuses will be unlocked.

New releasable country: House Westerling.
- Previously, the Westerlings were an obscure event that added a cosmetic tag to the Lannisters, now it's a separate releasable tag.
- If House Stark reaches the Crag, the can release the Westerlings and they will join their faction.

Stark Regency Council:
- After the aftermath of the Red Wedding wears off, you will get an event which allows to pick a new leader for the (Democratic) Starks.
= Arya Stark - Lady of Winterfell? But she will not become a General down the line.
= Jon Stark - King in the North? The Night's watch will need to agree to this. You will also have to send them 1000 men as compensation. (in the books, Robb suggests 100 men, but I added an extra zero to it).

Stark National focuses:
- Stark tree has been rearranged, political branch is now to the left.
- Extra naval focuses.
= Ability to Invite House Greyjoy to your faction or to fortify you Western coast.

Lannister National focuses:
- Rearranged a decent chunk of the tree.
- Storyline alterations: Lannister faction comes before removing Robert Baratheon. Allying the various houses also requires the Faction focus.
- Lannisters will now have an actual reason to remove Robert Baratheon.
- Added an extra focus to construct a Fuel Silo at Fair Isle.
- Previous Dockyard focus no longer requires a state.

House Mormont:
- Now has correct democratic leader: Maege Mormont + Portrait.
= She is also available as a Field Marshal but can also die at the Red Wedding.
- Decision to make Lyanna Mormont a Field Marshal if she is in charge.

New releasable nation: House Florent.

And much more...

Version 0.8 - As High as Honor

It's time for another version and it brings you a new focus tree for The Vale of Arryn. All Seven Kingdoms now have NFs and, in terms of content, this is the largest focus tree yet.

What can you do?
- Choose your regent: Yohn Royce or Lysa Arryn. Both offer different paths but their biggest decision is how they deal with Littlefinger. Be careful, if you don't plan out accordingly, you might find yourself going down the Moon Door.
= New leader + portrait - Lysa Arryn.

- The Hill Tribes: there are several ways to deal with them. By garrisoning the mountains (as you could before) or strike a deal with them. Be careful though, as some Vale lords may not take too kindly to this and may even end up fighting you.
= You can also put the Hill Tribes in power. Create an Alliance with Mance Rayder and go after the Riverlands.

- The Vale of Royce: turn your back on the Arryns and give the Vale the leader it deserves.
= New cosmetic tag + flag - House Royce of Runestone.
= New (book inspired) fascist Vale flag. This is done in order to help differentiate the two sides, due the dozen civil wars that can erupt.

- Turn the Vale into a fortress: countless defensive line will mean death to your enemies, but which each defensive line, your war support will also waver.

- Summon the Knights of the Vale: 5 divisions from your most loyal bannermen can be summoned at your will.
= You can also recruit special marine divisions from your islands.

Also:
- Updated some division names.
- New advisor + portrait - Anya Waynwood.

And much more...

Version 0.7.8 Codename "Jaws not guaranteed"

- Even more error dogs chased away. We're making progress...

Map:
- More terrain added to Dorne. More patches of desert and hills to the far-east Arm of Dorne.
- VP's value in Dorne adjusted. Buffed Sunspear and Starfall, nerfed Vanilla VP.

OOB:
- 4 out of 5 Generic White Walker Generals will now have a proper portrait. Jaws and other body parts not guaranteed.
- Promoted Kevan Lannister to Field Marshal; Demoted Jaime Lannister to General.
- Dornish navy has been converted to the new system.
- Improved Infantry Divisions' names for Dorne.

Various:
- Edmure Tully will now brag to House Stark about his hot sexy wife if the Red Wedding doesn't take place. This is there to inform the Stark player about the outcome.
- Adjusted Greyjoy AI to not sneak attack Starks/Lannisters if they are the same ideology.
- Stannis should now be more urgent in accepting the Lord of Light.
- Renly will now switch to non-aligned if the Baratheon United Front is formed.
- Stannis' focus to 'Take the Crownlands' now requires a usurper to be on the throne. This will allow much greater flexibility with the focus.
= Focus works with... usurper Joffrey Baratheon. usurper Tommen Baratheon and usurper Eddard Stark.

And more...

Soon, the mod will be updated to version 0.8 "As High As Honor" which will feature a brand new focus tree. Also, have to figure out a way to implement Cersei's love of elephants somehow...

Version 0.7.6 Codename "Shagga approved!"

- Compatibility with version 1.6.2;
- Several error dogs chased away + random compatibilities;

The Vale:

- Resources have been re-distributed across states.
- Shagga, son of Dolf, is now the Vale's communist leader.
- Added Timett, son of Timett, as communist advisor + portrait.
- Added an adorable portrait and trait to Sweet Robyn Arryn.
- FM Yohn Royce has a portrait now.

But why is the Vale getting so much work done all of a sudden? I don't know. What about that new focus tree that is being worked on?
