Update Fix for Parklife Patch

Update: Oct 8, 2017 @ 2:56am

These new features are demonstrated in the feature video on YouTube.

New Features
  • Circle Draw Mode: Now curves may be drawn in a perfect circle, in addition to Straight, Curved, and Freeform. See the new option "Perfect Circles" below.
  • Itemwise Placement: Items may now be placed individually along the path of the curve. Toggle between this mode and default spacing-based mode with the buttons at the top of the Parameters tab in the PLT Control Panel. In Itemwise Placement, the curve will change color to a dark blue / indigo. Ctrl-Click to switch to edit mode (lock mode, green) and back. When in edit mode, alternatively press Ctrl-Enter to continue the curve onto the next part of a continuous segment.

New Main Menu Option
  • PLT Anarchy ON by default: Automatically enables PLT Anarchy on map load (if enabled). Highly recommended to combine this setting with Prop & Tree Anarchy's setting "Anarchy ON by default".
New Control Panel Options
  • Perfect Circles: Snaps the radius of Circle curves to the closest value that would perfectly fit all items on the circle. Depends on the spacing parameter.
  • Linear Fence Fill: When drawing Straight fences, overlaps the last fence piece to end at exact mouse position. With a fitting prop model, straight fences are no longer constrained to lengths that are multiples of the single fence piece length.

Improvements
  • Items and Curves now follow the mouse more closely.
  • Stepwise Curve Completion: Now curves with > 256 items may be drawn in stepwise fashion. Lilac pink markers will appear at the start and end of each subcurve for visual aid. Left-Click to place each subcurve. This feature is known formally in the code as "MaxFillContinue".
  • PLT now extends a 30 second grace period, after selecting another tool, before it resets. If part of the curve is still visible on screen, within that timeframe, PLT will keep the drawn shape. This is useful when using the mod Find It! to search for different prop/tree prefabs. Originally, when using Find It! and typing in a new search query, PLT would immediately reset. However, if you wish to immediately reset PLT while it is the active tool, press the Escape key instead.
Known Issues
  • Decouple button is stuck as always visible. This does not affect its functionality.

Cheers!

Additional notes:
- Auto-Default checkbox added to Spacing section of Control Panel. Use to toggle spacing auto-setting to default whenever a different prop/tree is selected.
