Many Dremer units have had their stats improved slightly and/or their upkeeps modified to be less gold dependent and more food dependent.

» Dremer Reavers (dremer) damage increased to 20, up from 18
» Dremer Smashers (dremer) damage increased to 20, up from 18; upkeep changed to 4 gold, 7 food, 4 mana (was 7 gold, 4 food, 4 mana)
» Colossal Dremers (dremer) damage increased to 28, up from 25; upkeep changed to 8 gold, 15 food, 7 mana (was 15 gold, 7 food, 4 mana)
» Dremer Throwers (dremer) may now be upgraded to Dremer Summoners

PATCH 6.1.1 (updates and balancing)


2 NEW BUILDINGS
===============
» Totemic Watcher -NEW- (planestrider) +2 research, +6 sight radius | upk = 1 gold, 2 mana {available at city lvl 5+; one per city}

This new addition helps Planestriders in two key ways:
(1) It adds to their 'scouting' racial advantage and further differentiates thier faction;
(2) It gives them a much-needed early research boost. Planestriders are supposed to provide balanced resources, yet research had always been severely lacking until the mid-game.

» Coral Apothecary -NEW- (naga) +4 research | upk = 7 gold, 7 mana {requires Naga Academy; required for Naga High Healers}

The new addition for Naga provides a modest mid-game research bonus and also serves as a required building for Naga High Healers. This makes the unit available a bit later, so it's damage (and cost) have been increased slightly to compensate.


UNIT UPDATES

» Koatl Warlocks (sylvan) cost decreased to 250 gold, down from 260; build time increased to 4 turns, up from 3
» Koatl Shamans (sylvan) build time increased to 4 turns, up from 3

PATCH 6.1: REVOLUTIONS

One year ago today (August 3, 2015), Renaissance Mod launched and Warlock II hasn't been the same since!

Patch 6.1 gives you a chance to guide your faction through your own Great Renaissance, triggering a faction-wide revolution that imparts useful bonuses for the remainder of the game.

This patch also includes a number of balance changes and updates that bring the game ever closer to pure hextacy,
