# Balance changes
Note: all of this was made without any buffs, armor or accesories.
Ranged weapons all used their most basic form of ammunition


## Ancient Katana rebalanced
- +15 crit chance
- Reduced damage 20 --> 18
Made have the same damage and bonus crit chance from katana. Don't forget about the vertical reach.

## Anthrax buffed
- Fixed offset
- Slightly increased projectile speed
- Decreased use time 24 --> 22
This was made so it gets more viable to spread debuffs and more viable as a support tool

## Bartender Reliable nerfed
- Increased use time 15 --> 25
This change was made it so doesn't feel like a massive upgrade to the ale tosser for 25 gold

## Blaster rebalanced
- Increased projectile speed slightly
- Increased mana cost 6 --> 10
This change was made to make it a better choice while making it less mana efficient than the staves.

## Blaster V2 rebalanced
- Increased Use time 18 --> 22
- Increased projectile speed slightly
- Increased damage 22 --> 24
- Increased mana cost 7 --> 10
This change was made to make it feel like a bulkier space gun while costing more to use

## Blaster V3 nerfed
- Decreased damage 30 --> 28
- Increased mana cost 8 --> 12
- Increased use time 14 --> 20
It was capable of reaching the same dps as the laser rifle, but this nerf should make it feel more of a slight upgrade to the V2

## Bolter Buffed
- Increased projectile speed
- Decreased use time 13 --> 11
Vortex beater is more of a single target dps and has the ability to use special bullets (chlorophyte for aim assist) while the Bolter has better base crowd control capabilties and higher base damage

## Breeze Breath
- fixed offest

## Butterfly Wand Nerfed
- Increased use time 10 --> 15
- Removed burst
- Now fires 1 to 3 butterflies instead of 2 to 5
Literally out shined every other magic weapons of the same tier

## Copium Blaster rebalanced
- Decreased damage 18 --> 12
- Decreased use time 20 --> 19
Literally undertaker with 1 less damage

## Copium Trident Buffed
- Decreased usetime 30 --> 25
- Sligtly increased reach
The regular trident can do multiple hits in 1 use on the same target while the copium trident has more reach and attacks faster

## Copium Wand Nerfed
- Increased usetime 22 --> 25
- Decreased damage 9 --> 8
- Decreased projectile speed
The buff I gave was too much and got reverted with extra twists

## Decaying Wand Nerfed
- Increased usetime 18 --> 23
- Decreased damage 58 --> 50
Like butterfly wand, it out dpsed the other weapons of the same tier

## Echoing lancer buffed
- Increased damage 6 --> 7 (NO WAY!!! 6 7!!!)
- Decreased reuse delay 15 --> 7
While it still uses arrows, it can't have any form of effective crowd control while the molten fury has the abilty to ignite wooden arrows and use special arrows effects. Compared to the hell wing bow, it is effective at all ranges while the hellwing bow is only effective against large crowds. This change was made it so it stands out more in single target dps over the molten fury, while keeping the special arrows it fires.

## Egg repeater nerfed
- Increased use time 15 --> 20
The eggs are still classless because E G G

## Electroman Blade buffed
- Increased damage 30 --> 32
- Decrease usetime 18 --> 17
- Increased size 100% --> 112%
This is so it stands out as an upgrade to the starfury for those true melee fans

## Elemental blade note
It was designed to be a summon that never leaves its target until it is no longer a valid target, even with retargeting or with whips it won't help. While its cost can be kind of a grind, it has more dps than sanguine staff, but the targeting is what makes it stand out from the others. The higher dps compensates for the lack of crowd control. Normal summons targets the closest threat unless an entity is tagged.

## Elementail flail Nerfed
- Decreased damage 45 --> 38
- Increased use time 20 --> 28
The dps was too similar to the drippler crippler while the Elementail Flail was way easier to acquire

## Frost Breaker Buffed
- Increased damage 128 --> 155
- Decreased use time 22 --> 14
- Increased size 200% --> 220%
We all like true melee, but not when a pre cultist weapon does 300 dps

## Furry claw nerfed
- Increased usetime 6 --> 8
We gotta let the bladed glove better since it is a rare drop

## Goog blast nerfed
- Decreased damage 35 --> 18
The use of this weapon is crowd control, not dps

## Goog Blaster nerfed
- Added 10 bone to the recipe for progression lock
- Removed bromium bars from recipe

## Goog paw nerfed
- Decreased damage 14 --> 10
Same reason as furry claw

## Granite grenade nerfed
- Decreased damage 68 --> 56
Initial impact does damage and made it a lot more effective (probably too much) than the basic grenade

## Hockarang buffed
- Increased damage 26 --> 30
- Fixed use time and buffed it
Literally had less dps than the ice boomerang

## Huot Rifle buffed
- Decreased use time 9 --> 8
- Increased damage 13 --> 15
Minishark upgrade with 8 more average dps? So not worth it

## Laser Blaster nerfed
- Increased mana cost 5 --> 7
Now will chew your manaa

## Librarian Spellbook buffed
- Increased damage 42 --> 46
- Decreased mana cost 12 --> 8
- Decreased use time 20 --> 18
- Increased projectile speed

## Marble grail rebalanced
- Decreased spread 80 --> 60
- Increased mana cost 4 --> 12
- Increased damage 12 --> 18
Because of the i-frames, it doesn't feel as good it should be for it's rarity. You need to find a marble chest to get it, which is not guaranteed in all worlds. But it is the perfect weapon for closed space.

## Nameless parasite fixed
- No longer can be summoned without using a summon slot
- Corresponding buff no longer has a duration

## Ninja textbook nerfed
- Increased usetime 13 --> 15
- Decreased damage 16 --> 12
Did too much dps for crowds

## No Deer Claw buffed
- Increased size 100% --> 160%
- Increased damage 40 --> 45
- Decreased use time 24 --> 21
It's size made it practically unusable

## Painter Pride buffed
- Increased size 100% --> 115%

## Pocket Fairies buffed
- Increased damage 12 --> 14
- Decreased use time 5 --> 4
- Added 15 armor piercing
It was only viable for target without defense

## Refrigerator buffed
- Increased damage 38 --> 45
Had 1k dps with 5 targets (post golem btw)

## RoPro9000 buffed
- Decreased mana cost 36 --> 26
- Increased damage 225 --> 235
- Decreased use time 25 --> 22
- Added tooltip "Lost your cursor?"
The dps wasn't consisten enough, but now it has more dps than other post mech magic weapons, but still requires good focus on your cursor

## Ross rifle buffed
- Increased base crit chance 11% --> 15%
- Decreased usetime 22 --> 20
It's previous version (Antler Rifle) had 30 less dps

## Sandstone Launcher buffed
- Decreased desert fossil cost in recipe 35 --> 20

## Skyware Blaster buffed
- Fixed offset
- Decreased mana cost 7 --> 6

## Stealth Nodachi buffed
- Decreased usetime 23 --> 18

## The Grim Wraith buffed
- Increased damage 150 --> 170

## Twinerang Nerfed
- Increased use time 15 --> 18
- Decreased damage 55 --> 45
- Cursed flames now has 30 ticks of local i-frames
5 targets? **9k dps**

## Void Resonator
- Fixed a funny bug where having 2 or more accesories caused target dummies to take knockback and messing up the hitbox

Version 1.1 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2025.7

Mode and Ideology system reworked
Almost all ideologies got either a rework or a nerf
Ideology slot is unlocked after killing wall of flesh
Ideologies can now (again) be equipped in accessory slots (be warned that having 2 different ideas is not good)

All modes got reworked
Modes are no longer craftable, but are now unlocked in a ui after killing an evil boss
