Version 0.6.1:

Added a fail-safe to Redding Under Siege. Most players will still progress via a random drop or the matrix, but the key will now forcibly drop after the player kills a sufficient number of foes. Thanks to @fxknight for providing details on this situation!

Version 0.6.0:

This is a pretty minor update, but I'm bumping the version number to reflect my increasing confidence in the mod's stability. It feels like most major bugs have been resolved, so from here on out I'll probably mostly just be tweaking the difficulty.

  • Modified the barriers to progress in Redding Under Siege to eliminate potential confusion caused by multiple keys. Thanks to @Zarl for the suggestion!
  • Slightly slowed down the enemy respawn rate in Redding Under Siege.
  • Improved Selene's pathing and animation at the end of Redding Under Siege.
  • Shortened Tophet's rage timer by about 25%.

Version 0.5.0:

This is a significant update that focuses on overhauling enemy AI. As a result, combat should be a bit more interesting throughout the campaign.

  • Most humanoid enemies will now behave more intelligently: taking advantage of cover, attempting to flank the shadowrunners, and reacting to perceived threats.
  • Enemies will cluster less frequently. AOE attacks are still useful, but there will be fewer opportunities to wipe out a wave in a single round by stacking AOE attacks.
  • Updated a few more scenes to support switching into free-move mode when between combat encounters.
  • Added a bit more cover to many maps to give opponents more opportunities to protect themselves from long-distance attacks.
  • Repositioned enemies on several maps to give them time to move into cover.
  • Fixed an AI bug that occasionally caused the game to pause for a long time between turns in the first boss fight.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Carver Wells to appear even after he had been killed.
  • In The Mission, allies will now follow you between combat encounters. This should fix an occasional problem where they would wander off in the wrong direction.
  • In the Embarcadero, the Shadowrunner team can now move first during the boss fight.
  • In the Armory, you can now jack into the Matrix out of combat, and the meatspace world will disable while jacked in.
  • Restructured the flow for the initial half of the Eclipse invasion scene.
  • In a few (but only a few) scenes, bumped up enemy stats to provide more menacing opponents.
  • Dorbi no longer can get stuck on the wrong side of the fence during the legwork phase of The Five.
  • Tabitha now acknowledges the second time you've met her if you visit Colma later.
  • Plot-critical bodies now remain visible after death.
  • Improved a few lines of dialogue throughout the campaign.

Fixed the wrong portrait displaying when a companion interjects while talking with Kali in her office. Thanks to @steelcoresoviet for the report!

You can no longer interact with the pillars after beating the first boss, which avoids some screaming that didn't make sense. Thanks once again to @steelcoresoviet!

Deckers can now properly jack into the Armory Matrix. Thanks for the tip, @aram_mm!
